With a pious heart, Lord, behold my humility, for a short life I await and there are no works of mine by which I might be saved. Therefore, I pray: With a pious heart, Lord, behold my humility, and save me.

Glory: As the Judge standing before, the soul beseeches and fears the terrible hour of judgment: for the judgment is without respect of persons, not having been made by hands. O Soul, cry to Jesus Christ: Heart-searching One, I have sinned even before Thou didst judge; have mercy on me.

Now: Thou, O Dreadful and Terrible and Unspotted Judge, in Thy merciful heart receivest the day and the hour to tremble as with a leaf, studying deeds and works of wickedness; for I alone have sinned closely. Therefore, by this fear I fall down before Thee, praying grievously:

By thy manyfold prayers, O Full of Grace, save me.

O Lord, have mercy, and grant peace:

O Lord, Thou Who livest on high and seest with Thy holy eyes all the creation, we have bowed our soul and body before Thee, and we pray to Thee, O Holy One: stretch forth Thine invisible hand from Thy glorious dwelling place and bless all things.

Now. And if we have sinned against Thee willingly and unwillingly, O Good and Lover of Mankind God, forgive us, granting to us peace of Thy merciful goodness. For Thine is the love and salvation of our Lord, and unto Thee do we send forth glory, Father, and Son, and Holy Spirit, now and ever.

And for ever and ever, Amen.
