Irmos: There is none holy, /
Yet as thou, O Lord my God, /
exalt the horn of thy faithful ones near thee, /
and strengthen us upon the stones /
of our confession of thy righteousness.
God, being crucified, by the flesh seeing thy face spreading fear: /
but with a sustaining hand for our sake, firmly hold us.
Death by death hath been abolished lying inutterable desolation: / for not enduring the life-giving Incarnation, / it is made powerless, and bestows to all resurrection.
Pripev: Presvytori Theotokos, spasini nasi.
The Theotokos: God's own glory in Thy nativity surpasses all the ranks of nature; for Thou, O Virgin, didst conceive by the preeminent will of God, and bearing, didst abide ever two.
In the grave for three days lying,
Thou didst rise by Thy life-giving resurrection,
Before Thou hadst been made an offering to death.
And having loosed them from their sorrows, Thou hast rejoiced them with gladness,
All deliverance hath come to Thee, crying out.
Glory to Thee, O Lord, our Risen Savior, /
for Thou hast delivered us from the fire of hell and death, / Thou being almighty, / and we acclaim: /
there is no strength like Thine, O Lover of mankind.
Pripev: Presvytori Theotokos, spasini nas.
Крⷭ҇тобг҃оро́диченъ: Ты̀ ѿ тебѐ ро́ждшагосѧ ꙗ҆́кѡ ви́дѣла є҆сѝ ѹ҆ѧ́звлена копїе́мъ, / ѹ҆ѧзви́ласѧ є҆сѝ се́рдцемъ прест҃а́ѧ всенепоро́чнаѧ, / и҆ ѹ҆жаса́ющисѧ глаго́лала є҆сѝ: / что̀ тебѣ̀ воздадѐ, ча́до, наро́дъ пребеззако́нный;
Glory to Thee, O City of God: For Thou wast born from Thee, O Virgin, by a vision seen,
With a pierced heart, pure in spirit, didst thou bear Him,
And with fear and trembling didst thou say:
What shall I give, my child, to this people without law?
Thou dost consume my corruptible flesh and mortal life, all-merciful God,
And from thy womb receivedst an unspeakable reception of grace,
And having made this incorruptible, didst bind it unto thee for ever.
Pripev: Presvytori Theotokos, spasini nasi.
God Thou art made incarnate and seeing Thee we are struck with the fear of the countenance of an angel, / And as a virgin Thou art glorified with unspeakable hymns.
Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.
Woe hath come upon us, for the vision of Daniel in his lofty dream was seen; / and from a stone it was hewn, but not with hands: / and the iron crowns, O God, were crushed exceedingly.
And now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Not the word of thy mortal flesh,
Nor tongue of two can praise worthily:
For from thee, without seed,
The Life-Bearer Jesus Christ was made flesh, transcending, blessed of will.
Thou, O Theotokos, Song of Songs,
Living and without envy, fount of life,
In thyself gathered together in perfect beauty,
In Thy holy and most glorious splendor,
Wert crowned with the crown of glory.
O Lord, have mercy. [Three times.]
By the prayers of our holy Fathers, Lord Jesus Christ, O King, have mercy on us, amen.
Sedalen, glas Dě. Podoben: Voznesyysya na krát:
Lord, Master of mercy, preserve us from all visible and invisible enemies,
and from alien intrusions, and every kind of trouble and affliction,
who through faith and love celebrate the holy Resurrection of Thine own Self,
for which sake Thou hast granted to us to partake of eternal blessed joys.
Glory to Thee, O God, and to Thy Christ, and to Thy Holy Spirit, both now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Theotokos: Astonished was Joseph, seeing more than nature, and with mind perceived / how upon the fleece without seed, O Theotokos, dew fell / in conception thy immaculate, kindled not by flame, the aron rod withered, / and the baptizer and guardian priest cried out as witness: / Two thou begettest, and again by harvest two abidest.
