Harken to me now with cherubim, and, O Master, let the flaming weapon splash upon me,
Whom the Word of true God hath seen, and made the robber's way into paradise.

Not against Thee, O Lord, who hast raised me up from the earth to be forgotten: / for Thou didst raise me from the earth alive, / for Thy merciful bowels' sake many, / by Thy resurrection to the height of the imperishable.

Thee, O Theotokos: Who art the Lady of the Soul, Master of the world's bliss,
And Healer of confessors: For Thou art an unshakable intercessor for them,
True Mother of God.

Eating the tree in the food, the deceived one was transformed into worm, the progenitor thereof, / obeying the Lord's holy precepts: / but by this mercy Thou didst again exalt him to the first goodness, / having listened to the Father, who had saved thee.

By Thy death, O Ruler, death hath been vanquished;
and by the fount of life, Thou gavest to us immortality:
for this we bow down before the burial and the resurrection through faith,
by which Thou didst enlighten the world with the light of God.

Glory to God in heaven and on earth: Life upon our earth and Creator of all,
In Thy holy, unspotted womb, Thou didst dwell unspeakably in the virginal womb,
Praising Thee, O surpassingly glorious and most venerable One,
And standing in the highest rank of the incorporeal hosts:
Therefore we now on earth glorify Thee.

Чистото́ю возсїѧ́вши свѣ́тлѡ / бж҃е́ственное пребыва́нїе влⷣки всепѣ́таѧ была̀ є҆сѝ. / ты́ бо є҆ди́на мт҃и бж҃їѧ ꙗ҆ви́ласѧ є҆сѝ, / во ѡ҆б̾ѧ́тїихъ ꙗ҆́кѡ младе́нца сего̀ носи́вши.
By purity thou hast been exalted, O Light of the world / Thou dwellest in holiness, O All-pure Master. / Forthwith thou alone didst reveal thyself, / Bearing this infant in thine all-holy arms.

Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.
Носѧ́щи добро́тꙋ ѹ҆́мнꙋю, краснѣ́йшїѧ твоеѧ̀ дꙋшѝ, / невѣ́ста бж҃їѧ была̀ є҆сѝ, / запеча́тствована дв҃ствомъ чи́стаѧ, / и҆ свѣ́томъ чистоты̀ мі́ръ просвѣща́ющи.
Holding the sweet mercy, most beautiful of thy soul,
thou wast the bride of God, sealed with the seal of purity,
and with the light of holiness thou didst enlighten the world.

And now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Да рыда́етъ собра́нїе ѕлочести́выхъ, / не проповѣ́дающихъ тѧ̀ ꙗ҆́вѣ чи́стꙋю бг҃ома́терь: / ты́ бо врата̀ бж҃їѧ свѣ́та ꙗ҆ви́ласѧ є҆сѝ на́мъ, / мра́къ прегрѣше́нїй разгонѧ́ющи.
Let the assembly of those who are full of joy weep not, / but proclaim the pure doctrine of thy Most Holy Mother: / for thou didst open the gates of the light to us, / dispelling the darkness more grievous than night.
Катава́сїа: Ѹ҆жасо́шасѧ всѧ́чєскаѧ / ѡ҆ бж҃е́ственнѣй сла́вѣ твое́й: / ты́ бо неискꙋсобра́чнаѧ дв҃о, / и҆мѣ́ла є҆сѝ во ѹ҆тро́бѣ над̾ всѣ́ми бг҃а, / и҆ родила̀ є҆сѝ безлѣ́тнаго сн҃а, / всѣ̑мъ воспѣва́ющымъ тѧ̀, / ми́ръ подава́ющаѧ.
Catechism: With all thy glory we magnify Thee, O God, for Thy holy and glorious glory: For Thou, O Lord, art unapproachable in Thy divinity, and didst dwell within the womb of the All-holy Theotokos, and didst give birth to the Immortal Word, Who is sung by all creation, and gavest peace unto the world.
