Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee!

Thy conquering right hand, O God, doth glorify in strength: for it is immortal, as all-powerful, having made the path of the enemy deep and new by the power of the Holy Spirit.

By Thy pure hands, O God, Thou first created me; with Thy stretched-out hand, Thou didst cry to the earth for my corruptible body, which Thou didst receive from dust.

Death hath overcome me, and Thou hast delivered my soul to the power of death; but by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit Thou didst place Thy soul in me, and having broken the bonds of everlasting imprisonment, Thou didst raise me up with incorruptibility and glorified me.

O Theotokos,

Rejoice, O fount of grace. Rejoice, ladder. Rejoice, door opened, O heavens. Rejoice, candle. Rejoice, hand of gold, that bore not burdens, wherefore generating life-giving Jesus Christ in the world.

And I, having been crucified, have risen again.

Hymn: Theotokos doth give birth:

O Soul/Spirit, Jesus Christ, doth sanctify me in my Incarnation, O Soul/Spirit, doth exalt me in my humility, O Soul/Spirit, worketh with Me in My impassivity, suffering Life-Bearer by the flesh. Wherefore I sing a thanksgiving hymn: For Thou hast glorified.

Jesus Christ raiseth me up, who was crucified, Jesus Christ bringeth me to life, who was dead, Jesus Christ giveth me life, who was dead. Therefore with joyful hands I pour forth this victory song, praising my Saviour: For Thou hast glorified.

O Theotokos,

God the Father begat Thee, and the Theotokos brought Thee forth in the womb, and Thou wast incarnate, transcending nature, of one Substance with the Father, known in two Essences: that Thou mightest be glorified.

And let us bless the Lord, who dwelleth on high.

Thou, O Theotokos, dost bring us a worthy song that cannot be sung; truly, an attractive one, by which Thou didst teach us the hidden mystery: Rejoice, O Double-Betrothed Maiden.

O Ever-virgin Theotokos, with hearts pure and faithful spirits we cry to thee: Rejoice, O Lady of Heaven, Maiden undefiled.

O boundless depth of Thy unsearchable joy, O All-creating One, with an unwavering faith we bring Thee our pure offering, saying: Rejoice, O Bridegroom, Thou the Virgin's Spouse.
