Irmos:

Thy conquering right hand, O God, in strength doth glorify Thee: for it is immortal, as all-powerful, having made the path of the enemy deep and new.

With Thy pure hands Thou first created me; with Thy hand stretched out upon the cross, Thou didst call unto Thee my corruptible body, which Thou didst receive from the dead.

Death hath overcome me, and Thou hast delivered my soul to the power of death; but by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit Thou didst place Thy soul in me, and having broken the bonds of everlasting imprisonment, Thou didst raise it up with incorruptibility and glorified it.

O Theotokos,

Rejoice, O fount of grace. Rejoice, ladder and door opened by God. Rejoice, candlestick and hand of gold, and burden not borne, since thou hast brought forth the life-giving Spirit for the world.

And I, having been canonized, resurrected in Christ.

Hymn: Theotokos doth give birth:

Jesus Christ glorifieth me, having taken flesh, Jesus Christ exalteth me, being made obedient, Jesus Christ without passion worketh with me, the suffering Life-bearer by His very nature. Wherefore I sing a thankful hymn: For Thou hast shown Thy glory.

Jesus Christ raiseth me up, who was crucified, Jesus Christ bringeth me to life, who was dead, Jesus Christ giveth me life, who was in death. Therefore with joyful hands I pour forth this victory song, praising my Saviour: For Thou hast glorified.

O Theotokos,

God the Father begat Thee, and the Theotokos brought Thee forth in the womb, and Thou wast incarnate for our salvation, alone of one substance, yet known to be two in essence: that Thou mightest be glorified.

And let us bless the throne of the Theotokos.

Thou deignest not to receive from us a worthy song; truly, it is an ineffable persuader, by which the Lord taught us in secret: Rejoice, O Virgin, double-betrothed.

O Ever-virgin Theotokos, Mother of the heavens' powers, with hearts purest we cry to thee: Rejoice, O Heaven, Mother undefiled.

O boundless depth of Thy unsearchable joy, O All-creating One, with an undoubting faith we bring Thee our pure offering, saying: Rejoice, O Bridegroom, Thou the Second Person, and Thy Most Pure Spouse.
