Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee! For Thou art life (жизнь) from all eternity, and unto Thee do we lift up our souls (души). Through Thee we are saved, for Thou art the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen.

Thy conquering right hand, O God, in strength doth glorify Thee: for it is immortal, because mighty, having made the path of the enemy deep and slippery anew.

By Thy pure hands, O God, Thou first created me; with Thy stretched-out hand, Thou didst cry to the earth for my corruptible body, which Thou didst receive from dust.

Death hath overcome me, and Thou hast delivered my soul to the power of death; but by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit Thou didst place Thy soul in me, and having broken the bonds of everlasting imprisonment, Thou didst raise it up with incorruptibility and glorified Thee.

O Theotokos, rejoice!

Rejoice, O fount of grace. Rejoice, ladder. Rejoice, door opened, O heavenly. Rejoice, candle. Rejoice, hand of gold, that didst bear unmeasured goods, since thou art the bearer of life to the world, O Jesus Christ.

And let it be according to the canonical, resurrection of the righteous.

Hymn: Theotokos doth give birth:

Jesus Christ glorifieth me, who was made flesh, Jesus Christ exalteth me, who was made humble, Jesus Christ passionless, He worketh with me, the sufferer for the life of the flesh. Wherefore I sing a thankful hymn: For Thou hast glorified.

Jesus Christ raiseth me up, who was crucified, Jesus Christ quickeneth me up, who was dead, Jesus Christ giveth me life, who was slain. Wherefore with joyful hands I pour forth this victory song to the Saviour: For thou hast glorified.

O Theotokos,

God the Father begat Thee, and the Theotokos brought Thee forth in the womb, and Thou wast incarnate, O Incarnate One, of one Substance with the Only-begotten, known in two Essences: that Thou mightest be glorified.

And let us bless the throne of the Theotokos.

Thou bringest us worthy praise, which we cannot bring; truly, a persuasive one, by which the Master taught us in secret: Rejoice, O Lady, with thy double portion.

O Ever-virgin Theotokos, with hearts pure and faithful spirits we cry to thee: Rejoice, O Lady of Heaven, and our Bridegroom.

O boundless depth of Thy unsearchable joy, O All-creating One, with an undoubting faith we bring Thee our pure offering, saying: Rejoice, O Bridegroom, Thou the Second Person, and Thou, O Virgin Maiden.
