Thy conquering right hand, O God, in strength doth glorify Thee: for it is immortal, as all-powerful, having made the path of the enemy deep and new.

By Thy pure hands, O God, Thou first created me; with Thy stretched-out hand, Thou didst cry to the earth for my corruptible body, which Thou didst receive from dust.

Death hath overcome me, and Thou hast delivered my soul to the power of death; but by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit Thou didst place Thy soul in me, and having broken the bonds of eternal chains, Thou didst raise me up with immortality and glorified Thee.

O Theotokos, glory be to Thee.

Rejoice, O fount of grace. Rejoice, ladder. Rejoice, door opened, O heavens. Rejoice, candle. Rejoice, golden hand, and burdened not with goods, since thou art the life-giving One who hath begotten all the world.

And let it be according to the canonical, resurrectional fast.

Hymn: Theotokos doth give birth:

Jesus Christ glorifieth me, who was made flesh, Jesus Christ exalteth me, who am humbled, Jesus Christ without passion worketh with me, the suffering Life-bearer in my very flesh. Wherefore I sing a thankful hymn: For Thou hast glorified.

Jesus Christ uplifteth me, who was crucified, Jesus Christ raiseth me, who was dead, Jesus Christ giveth me life. Therefore with joyful hands I pour forth this triumphal hymn to the Saviour: For He hath glorified.

O Theotokos,

God the Father begat Thee, and the Theotokos brought Thee forth in the womb, made manifest from Thee Incarnate, One of a single Substance, alone, into Two Essences known by nature: that Thou mightest be glorified.

And let us magnify the Lord on high, in the sanctuary of His holiness.

Thou bringest us worthy praise, which we cannot bring with unworthiness; truly, a convincing praise, by which the Lord taught us in mystery to say: Rejoice, O Lady, twice blessed, virgin bride.

O Ever-virgin Theotokos, with hearts pure and faithful spirits we cry to thee: Rejoice, O Lady of heaven, and ever-virgin Mother.

O boundless depth of Thy unsearchable joy, O All-creating One, with an undoubting faith we bring Thee our pure offering, saying: Rejoice, O Bridegroom, Thou Maiden without a husband.
