O Lord, have mercy on me, according to the great mercy of Thine and the multitude of Thy mercies, cleanse my iniquity. More than that, wash away from me my iniquity, and from my sin cleanse me. For I know mine iniquity, and my sin is before me openly. For I have sinned against Thee alone, and have done evil before Thee, that Thou mightest be justified in Thy words, and overcome when Thou judgest Me. Lo, in my iniquities was I conceived, and in sin did my mother bear me. Lo, Thou hast loved truth, O God, the hidden and secret wisdom of Thine. Thou hast anointed me with oil of gladness before Thee. Wash me clean with hyssop, and I shall be whiter than snow. Let Thy ears hear joy and gladness, let the bones of the humble rejoice. Turn away Thy face from my sin, and all my iniquities cleanse. Make my heart pure within me, O Lord, and renew my spirit in the morning. Do not cast me off from Thy face, nor take Thy Holy Spirit from me. Give me joy in Thy salvation, and establish me in a house of Thy pleasure. Teach me the way of Thine, that the ungodly may be turned to Thee. Deliver me from blood, O God of salvation, let my tongue praise Thy righteousness. Thou hast anointed my lips, O Lord, and my mouth shall declare Thy praise. Lo, Thou hast caused my vows to be bound fast by the hand of mine elders. For though I would have given Thee a sacrifice, Thou hast not desired it; a burnt offering Thou hast not delighted in. A broken spirit Thou wilt not despise, God, for Thou wilt not cast down a contrite heart. Blessed are the holy, O God, with Thy good will, and let them be established as the walls of Jerusalem. Then shalt Thou delight in the sacrifice of righteousness, offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they lay upon Thine altar young bullocks.
