O Lord, have mercy on me, according to the great mercy of Thine and the multitude of Thy mercies, cleanse my iniquity. More than that, wash me from the iniquity of my deeds, and from my sin. For I know mine iniquity, and my sin is before me, openly. For I have sinned against Thee, and have done wickedly before Thee, that Thou mightest be justified in Thy words, and overcome when Thou judgest Me. Lo, by reason of my iniquities was I conceived, and in sin did my mother bear me. Lo, Thou hast loved truth, the hidden and secret wisdom of Thine; Thou hast enlightened me. Pour out upon me dew from above, and cleanse me: wash me, and more than snow shall whiten me. Let Thy ears give joy to my mouth, and let my bones rejoice in their humility. Turn away Thy face from my sins, and all my iniquities blot out. Make my heart clean within me, O Lord, and renew my spirit in the womb. Do not cast me off from Thy face, nor take Thy Holy Spirit from me. Give me joy of salvation Thine, and establish me a house of my Lady. Teach me the way of Thee, that the ungodly may be turned to Thee. Deliver me from the blood of the Lord, O Lord, of Thy salvation; let my tongue praise Thy righteousness. Thou hast answered me, O Lord, with joy mine eyes have seen. For though I said, "I shall be cast off," yet Thou didst hear me, and art become my salvation. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord; and they that turn not aside from His commandments: they shall receive mercy and justice from Thee, O Lord.
