Oh, Most Holy and Most Blessed Mother of our Sweetest Lord Jesus Christ! We fall and bow to You before Your radiant image and humbly pray: forgive, O All-Merciful One, all our errors and all insults, whether in knowledge or ignorance, to Your Son and From his youth, our Savior was abundantly inflicted by failure to fulfill the commandments of His saints, neglect of sacred things, negligence in prayer and impatience in bearing our cross. Look at the thirst for salvation and weak labors and be with His little flock, who sinned greatly but remained faithful to Your Son, according to His unfaithful word, spoken in the Holy Gospel: “Do not be afraid, little flock: for it has been your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.” O Life-giving Source of our consolation, we offer this humble prayer to You and ask Your Mother to intercede for us before the Throne of our Heavenly Father.
Do not deprive us of this blessed Kingdom for our many sins, for we are like nothing external and self-loving, proud and vain, neither the glorious achievements of the world, nor virtue, with accomplished by secret self-admiration, neither degrees, nor ranks, nor even the monastic title itself will be able to usher us into the Kingdom of Heaven, only a pure heart and a contrite and humble spirit, for many prayerful works bestowed by the Holy Spirit. Help us to spend the remaining days of our lives in spirit and truth to worship Your Son, Merciful Mother of God, and, having acquired unhypocritical love for God and neighbor, to fulfill this the first commandment of the Lord, the only one that leads to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Regardless of our unworthiness, grant us to become children of God by grace and inherit eternal life with all who have pleased God in repentance, and bring us in, Mother of God, by the stripes of Your Son Jesus Pretihago into His Heavenly Palace, in order to eternally glorify and glorify the Most Honorable and Magnificent Name of the All-Holy Trinity of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit now and forever and ever. Amen.
