(August 10)
Oh, Queen of Heaven and earth, the all-merciful Lady, the all-honorable Hodegetria, our zealous Representative, who at the Cross of Your Son and God adopted the entire fallen human race and In Her dormition, she did not leave us orphaned and hopeless!
We pray to Thee, All-Immaculate One, do not take Thy grace away from Thy repentant servants and rule over all, as the Most Blessed Mother: protect our fatherland, preserve the Orthodox faith, make the authorities wise, Strengthen the priests, grant abundant help to your faithful people, bring understanding to the young, comfort the old, heal the sick, restore the desperate, convert the lost and chastity for all and pray for strength - For You are the good Guide and the merciful Intercessor, we fall to You and pray to You: do not reject us, but ask us for a good answer on the Terrible Judges, may we not be condemned by our sin and iniquity, but may we receive mercy through the immeasurable love for mankind of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom we send glory and worship, with the Beginning His Father, and His Most Holy and Good and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
