1. I pray for Your goodness, Lord, look down on me from the height of Your glory and grant me the strength to glorify You day and night, for my soul has loved You with the Holy Spirit, and I miss You, and tearfully seek You.

Lord, give us the Holy Spirit; With it we will glorify You day and night, for our flesh is weak, but Your Spirit is vigorous, and gives strength to the soul to work easily for You, and confirms the mind in Your love, and rests in You with perfect peace, and it no longer wants to think of anything other than Your love.

2. Lord, Merciful, my weak spirit cannot come to You, and therefore I call You, like King Abgar: come and heal me from the wounds of my sinful thoughts, and I will praise You day and night, and preach You to people, so that all nations may know You, that You, Lord, as before, work miracles, forgive sins, and you sanctify and live.

3. Great is Your mercy. God; and who can worthily thank You for giving the Holy Spirit to earth? Great, O Lord, is Your righteousness. You promised Your Apostles: “I will not leave you orphans”; and we now experience this mercy, and our soul feels that the Lord loves us. Holy soul, do not leave us. When You are with us, the soul hears Your presence and is blissful in God, for You give us the ardent love of God.

4. You are good, Lord. I thank Your mercy: You poured out Your Holy Spirit on me and gave me to taste Your love for me, so sinful, and my soul is drawn to You, the unapproachable Light. Who could know You, if not You, the Merciful One, deign to show Yourself to the soul? And she saw You, and knew her Creator, the good God, and always insatiably wants You, for You, the Merciful One, attracted the soul to You with love, and the soul knew Your love. You see, Lord, how weak and sinful the soul of man is, but You, the Merciful One, give the soul the strength to love You, and the soul fears lest it lose the humility that enemies are trying to take away from it, for then Your grace will leave the soul.

Merciful Lord, how great is Your love for me, a sinner. You have made me know You; You gave me to taste Your grace. “Taste and see that the Lord is good” (Ps. 33:9). You have given me to taste Your goodness and mercy, and my soul is drawn to You day and night insatiably, and cannot forget its beloved Creator, for the Spirit of God gives it the strength to love the Beloved, and the soul does not know satiety, but is drawn to its Heavenly Father.

O my Creator, why did I, Thy little creation, offend You so much; but You did not remember my sins.

Glory to the Lord God that He gave us His only begotten Son for our salvation.

Glory to the Only Begotten Son that He deigned to be born of the Most Pure Virgin, and suffered for our salvation, and gave us His Most Pure Body and Blood for eternal life, and sent us the Holy Spirit to earth.

You have drawn the souls of the saints to You, O Lord, and they flow to You like quiet rivers. The mind of the saints cleaves to You, Lord, and is drawn to You - our Light and joy. The heart of Your saints is established in Your love, O Lord, and cannot forget You even for a minute, even in a dream, for sweet is the grace of the Holy Spirit.

Oh, Lord, let us praise You until our last breath.
