Blessed and most luminous souls [spirits], Archangels and Angels and all the Heavenly Powers of honor, always standing before the Most Holy and Divine Trinity and illuminated by the light of the ever-present glory of glory, constantly glorifying Her name! We come running to you with prayer and supplication: intercede for us at the throne of the Lord Almighty, and as a servant of grace, helping us all who want to inherit salvation and rejoicing in the name of one repentant sinner, assist us in the pious conduct of our temporary life, and strengthen our feet ours is on the path of salvation.
Glorification and God-brightening to the souls [spirits] of the righteous, the saints of God, who lived on earth in the flesh pleasing to God and are now in heaven with the rejoicing angels: the honorable prophets who foreshadowed the days of our deliverance: the Forerunner of the Lord, preaching the Lamb of God who takes away sin peace, and was worthy to baptize the Source of holiness in the streams of the Jordan: the apostles of Christ, the God-established pillars of the Church, who enlightened the whole world with the saving teaching of Christ and the divinely wise and sacred laws of the Church of Christ, immovably establishing: holiness and shepherd of the flock Christ, through the prayers and sacred rites of the holy and Divine mysteries, the faithful who sanctified everything and taught me to walk in the way of the Lord’s commandments: the passion-bearers of Christ and martyrs, before the rulers and kings of Christ God, who boldly confessed and shed their honest blood for Him: the reverend and the righteous, who walked their narrow and sorrowful path who committed the mortification of the flesh and passions and crucified Christ!
We pray to you, ever-blessed ones: ask us from Christ our God for forgiveness of sins, correction of life and all the good things needed for temporal and eternal life. O most honorable and glorious council of the saints of God, ethereal Angels and those who lived in the flesh and pleased God, our intercessors and prayer books [prayer books]! Kindly look at us and at our earthly vale, remember us who wander and come, and with the grace and strength given to you from God, guide us to the Heavenly Fatherland: strengthen our weakness, protect us from temptations and enticements, save us from falling into sin, arouse in us holy love for the Lord and zeal for our salvation, plant Divine fear in our hearts, direct our steps to doing the commandments of Christ and to fulfilling the good and perfect will of God.
Grant, O saints of God, that we may live chastely and righteously and honorably in this present age, and always remember the hour of death and the terrible second coming of the Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ, so that by His grace and love for mankind we are observed and saved, and we, sinners and unworthy people, will be honored in the Kingdom of Heaven with you to bow to the throne of God and gratefully and joyfully glorify the Most Holy, Life-giving and Indivisible Trinity, Father and Son and Holy Spirit, forever and ever.
