Hallowed be the name of Christ, the Nighest in glory, Who is our Intercessor without reproach, and our Supplication unshakeable to the Creator. Do not despise the cries of the sinners in their prayers, but hasten to help us, faithful callers upon Thee: Hasten to our supplications, and strive for our entreaties, interceding ever before the Theotokos, Who is sought by them.
The Lord saith: Stretch forth Thy hands, with which Thou didst receive all creatures for the sake of man; for the multitude of Thy goodness: Do not forsake us always those who hope in Thee, by Thy steadfast prayer and unceasing mercy, grant to our souls Thy mercy, ever flowing: For we, sinners, have found a Defender through Thee. But since Thou art full of mercy, hasten to our prayers, and strive for our entreaties, interceding ever before the Theotokos, Who is sought by them.
O Guardian Angel, guardian of him who fears Thee,
Thou standest by his side and shieldest him from every evil.
Through Thy prayers, O angel of God, keep us in the knowledge of Thy Creator,
That we may not be led astray into spiritual delusion.
For Thou art a stranger to sin, an advocate before the throne of grace;
Thy power is over all, and Thou dost intercede for those who invoke Thee with faith.
Therefore let us pray to Thee:
Grant that we may walk in the path of righteousness,
And be delivered from every snare of the adversary.
For Thou art our protector and defender, O angel of God,
And by Thy mercy we are saved.
Mercy hath come to me, O holy angel of the Lord, my guardian, and do not suffer me from the foulness, but enlighten me with an unassailable light, and make me worthy of the heavenly worship of Jesus Christ. The Apostle saith: Thou, O holy intercessor, having vanquished many a soul by manifold snares, hast vouchsafed to me, O holy one, ineffable glory, and singer with the choirs of the incorporeal powers of thy Godhead, have mercy on me and keep me, and let my thoughts be good for my soul, that I may be enriched through thy glory, O holy angel mine, and cast down those who think evil against me, and make me worthy of the heavenly worship of Jesus Christ.
