By the Life-giving Hand,
Having passed through the dark abysses of sorrow,
Life-bearer, Thou didst raise up all Jesus Christ,
Raising up man's race: for He is the Saviour of all,
Raising life and God of all.

O Lord, have mercy, Thee.

At every season and at every hour, on high and on earth, blessed is He who is praised and glorified by the Theotokos and by men, long-suffering, full of mercy, loving the righteous and merciful to sinners, calling all to salvation for the promise of future good. Thou, O Lord, hear our prayer at this present time: sanctify our souls, cleanse our bodies, correct our thoughts, purify our minds, and deliver us from every kind of sorrow and sickness: guard us with thy holy angels, that by their intercession we may be kept and instructed, and attain to the unity of faith, and to the understanding of thy ineffable glory: for thou art blessed for ever and ever. Amen.

O Lord, have mercy. [Three times.]

Glory to Thee, O God, and to Thy Christ, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Most glorious Cherubim, and most renowned Seraphim, we magnify thy unwearying words of God, born of the Theotokos, O Lady.

O Lord, have mercy. [Three times.]
