When the human race multiplied, scattered throughout the entire earth and was divided into many tribes and peoples, then the knowledge of the one true God was eclipsed, people began to honor and worship, instead of the true God, dumb, unreasonable creatures: animals, fire, heavenly bodies, etc., they began to make images of gods or idols, idols, from gold, silver, copper, stones, etc., they worshiped sacrifices were made to these idols.
