Alas, two-fold, Lord.
Plead my cause, O Lord, with those who strive against me; fight against those who war against me.
Take hold of shield and buckler, and arise for my help.
Draw out the sword, and stop against those persecuting me; say to my soul, I am thy salvation.
Let them be ashamed and confounded who seek my soul; let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who contrive my evil.
Let them be like chaff before the face of the wind, and let an angel of the Lord scorch them.
Let their path be darkness and slippery; and may the angel of the Lord pursue them.
For they have hidden for me their snare in vain, digging it for my soul in vain.
Let destruction come upon them unforeseen, and their net which they have hidden ensnare them; in it shall they fall.
And my soul doth rejoice in the Lord; it shall be glad in His salvation.
‹. All my bones shall cry out, Lord: who is like unto thee, delivering the poor from one stronger than he, yes, the poor and the needy from those who plunder him?
They gave me evil in return for good, and desolation to my soul.
But as for me, when they afflicted me, I put on sackcloth and humbled my soul in fasting; and my prayer turned to my bosom.
As near to me as a brother, so did they bow down; as one in sorrow and dejected, so was I humbled.
But in my adversity they rejoiced and gathered together; yea, the poor gathered together against me, and I perceived it not; they tore me, and ceased not.
With hypocritical mockers at banquets, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
Lord, how long wilt thou look upon? rescue my soul from their snares, my only one from the lions.
I will give thee thanks in a great assembly; in the midst of many people I will praise thee.
Let not those who hate me without cause rejoice over me; neither let them wink with their eyes in malice.
For they spoke peace to me, but devised deceitful plans against those at peace in the land.
Yea, they widened their mouths against me, and said: Well, well; lo, we have seen it.
This thou hast seen, O Lord: keep not thy peace; O Lord, be not far from me.
Stir up yourself, O Lord, and hear my plea; my God and my Lord, in my just cause.
Judge me, O Lord my God, according to thy righteousness, and let them not rejoice over me.
Let them not say in their hearts: "It is well, it is well with our soul"; nor let them say: "We have already吞下他。" (Note: The Church Slavonic phrase "REATE" seems to be a corruption and has been omitted as it does not correspond to the Greek text provided.)
Let them be ashamed and confounded together who rejoice at my calamity; let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who exalt themselves against me.
Let them rejoice and be glad who desire my righteousness; let them say always: May the Lord be exalted, who takes pleasure in the peace of his servant.
And my tongue shall meditate on thy righteousness all the day long, and proclaim thy praise.
At the end, O Son of God, have mercy on me.

How excellent is your righteousness, O Lord, like great mountains! Your judgments are a deep abyss, O Ruler of peoples! You save both many people and beasts, Lord.
As thou hast enriched thy mercy, O God; so the sons of men take refuge in the shadow of thy wings.

And he shall unfold thy righteousness as light, and thy judgment as midday.
Rest in the Lord and seek him diligently; do not be envious of the one who prospers in his way, or of the sinner who carries out wickedness.
