Having heard about your labors, we marveled, reverend fathers of Athos, who made the Holy Mountain with your residence into another heaven, and from it you ascended comfortably to the Heavenly Mountain, even though with your souls you now dwell in Jerusalem on high and enjoy the sweet sight of Christ. But as kindness is an imitation of Spasov’s mercy, mercifully overshadow us, humble and sinners, with your prayers, and instruct us on the path to salvation, and let us all joyfully call to you:

Rejoice, heavenly eagles, who flew from the valleys of Athos to the Heavenly Mountain.

Rejoice, sweet-singing gussets who filled the desert of Athos with song and prayer.

Rejoice, the mountain has been illuminated by the trisolar light.

Rejoice, miracles of grace and healing given by the Lord to glorification.

Rejoice, for your reward is abundant in heaven.

Rejoice, for your souls shine like the sun in the light of the saints.

Rejoice, reverend fathers of Athos, for the zeal for the souls of our prayer books.
