Singing a song to you, as a great and divine teacher and wise teacher of the Church of Christ, about the prophecy of God, we honor you, Nicodemus: but do not cease, O holy one, to enlighten all calling:
Rejoice, great glory of Mount Athos;
Rejoice, divine praise of Naxos.
Rejoice, ever-bright luminary for the monastics;
Rejoice, never-ending fiery of the Orthodox.
Rejoice, image and rule of monks acceptable to God;
Rejoice, gift and crown of the silent and reverent.
Rejoice, most unshakable wall of the Church;
Rejoice, most luminous lamp of piety.
Rejoice, for we will receive the best;
Rejoice, we also turn away the worst.
Rejoice, Mysterious Mother of God;
Rejoice, your named representative.
Rejoice, Father Nicodemus, Holy Mountains, glorious decoration.
