O Lord Jesus Christ, God, pray for me, a sinner, through Thine holy prayer, and all Thy saints, save me.

O Lord, from the defilement of sin, cleanse Thou my soul and body, that I may serve Thee in purity and holiness. Amen.

Through Thy mercy, O Lord, purify me from all uncleanness, both inward and outward, that I may be found worthy to stand before Thee with a clean heart. Amen.

O Lord, save me from the snares of the evil one, that I may walk in the way of righteousness and truth. Amen.

Through Thy grace, O Lord, deliver me from all vanity and delusion, that I may seek after Thee with all my heart. Amen.

O Lord, have mercy on me a sinner. Through Thine unmeasurable mercy, forgive me my transgressions and lead me into the way of life eternal. Amen.

O Lord our God, most merciful and lover of mankind, most holy and abiding in holiness, who wast seen by the Apostle Peter with a glorious vision from the Most High Apostle, let nothing unclean or impure be thought of those things created for food and enjoyment of man, and as vessels chosen by thee, Apostle Paul, who commanded all things to be cleansed: Thou Thyself art most high, calling by the fearful and pre-eminent name of Thine, and by the sign and life-giving seal of Thy Name, bless and cleanse Thy servant [my] soul and body from every unclean thing, and forgive me all voluntary and involuntary transgressions which I have committed in all my days, by deed, word, and thought, day and night, until now. And make me worthy to serve Thy most holy mysteries, not for judgment or condemnation, but for the remission of sins, and for the coming of Thy glorious advent, and life eternal, which Thou hast prepared for Thy true servant.

Before cleanse my soul and body from every uncleanness, and leave all sin, voluntary and involuntary, which I have committed in all my days by deed, word, and thought, day and night, until now. And give me, O Lord, to serve these most fearful heavenly powers, and partake of Thy most holy mysteries, not for judgment or condemnation, but for the remission of sins, and for the coming of Thy glorious advent, and life eternal, which Thou hast prepared for Thy true servant.

Keep me, O all-powerful Lord, from every sin and sorrow, keep me blameless and unblemished from every disease against the devil: And give me, O Lord, to serve Thee in humility and righteousness until the last day and hour, and at my end. For Thou art blessed and glorified of all, O God our Lord; unto Thee we send our praise with Thy Father and Holy Spirit, now and ever, and for evermore. Amen.

For sin, and for which sake lustful imaginings arise in sleep:

To judge sincerely and to call a brother his own: this is greatly sinful. For pride and such pride also are sinful. From many days and much eating, it is fitting: as the natural flows without movement and without thought, so too does excess flow: from bodily weakness and some sicknesses: for devilish envy: yet both are sinless, but they are called bitter in name.

The hours of Pascha.

It behoveth to know, how during this week of the great Paschal feast, even until Thursday, at hours and vespers, thus they sing.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Glory. The Lord Jesus Christ is in your heart, O soul, let your mouth be filled with His praise for the glory of His holy Name, of our most venerable and God-bearing Fathers, and all saints, have mercy upon us. Amen. Jesus Christ rose from the dead by death trampling it down, and gave life to the living in the tombs. [Three times.]
