O Lord Jesus Christ, God, pray for me, a sinner, through Thine holy prayer, and for all Thy saints, save me.
O Lord, from the defilement of sin, cleanse Thou my soul and body, that I may serve Thee in purity and holiness. Amen.
Through Thy grace, O Lord, grant me to see my own wretchedness and to turn away from all vanity. For I am a stranger and a pilgrim in this world, and I seek the Kingdom of Heaven where I shall find rest. Amen.
O Lord, do not let the deceit of the world blind my eyes nor the pride of life puff up my heart. Keep me humble and teach me to walk in Thy commandments. Amen.
O Lord, grant that I may see Thee in Thy glory and be filled with Thy divine light. For Thou art the Light of the world, O Lord, and unto Thee do we lift up our souls. Amen.
Through the intercessions of Thy holy Mother and of all the saints, have mercy on me, a sinner. Amen.

Lord God, our only Good and Lover of Mankind, our only True and Ever-resting, who wast seen by the Apostle Peter with unveiled face in the glory of the Lord's Most High Throne, let nothing unclean or impure be thought of me from things created for food and enjoyment of man, and as Thy chosen vessel, Apostle Paul, Thou didst command with pure commandments: Thou art Thyself Most High, calling by the fearful and pre-eminent name of Thine, and by the sign and life-giving seal of Thy Name, bless and cleanse Thy servant [my] soul and body from every unclean thing, from all wickedness and thoughts evil, from all lawlessness and deceit, from all consent and all vanity, and from all sickness, and from all sorrows, and from all that is contrary to the sweetness of Thy will. And now, unworthy as I am, Thy servant [my] soul, grant me to serve Thy most holy mysteries. Before this, cleanse my soul and body from every unclean thing, and forgive all my voluntary and involuntary transgressions which I have committed in all days of my life, by deed, word, and thought, day and night, until now. And give me here, O Most High, to serve Thy most terrible holy orders, and to partake of Thy most pure mysteries, not for judgment or condemnation, but for the cleansing of sins, and for the coming age, and for the joy that Thou hast prepared for Thy true servant. Preserve me, O All-powerful Lord, from every sin and sorrow, keep me blameless and unblemished from all sicknesses contrary to the devil: and give me here, O Most High, to serve Thee in holiness and righteousness until the last day and hour, and at my death: for Thou art blessed and glorified of all, O Lord God, our God, and we send Thee glory with Thy unending Father and Thy glorious and life-giving House now and forever. Amen.
Of sin, and by reason thereof lustful dreams arise in sleep:
If thou judgest sincerely and sayest, "Brother, thou art in sin greatly," from lofty heart and pride, this also is sinful. From many days and feasting, it is fitting: as the natural man without movement and without thought doth flow forth, even so doth excess flow forth; from bodily weakness and some sicknesses: from devilish envy: wherefore they are guiltless therefore, but both are called foul-smelling.
Hours of Pascha.
It is fitting to know, because from this Wednesday of the great week of Pascha, even until Thursday, at hours and vespers thus they sing.
In His Name, and in Thy, and in the Holy Spirit. Amen. Gloria. The Lord Jesus Christ glorify, praying for our merciful God, for the venerable and blessed fathers and the heavenly Mother, and all the saints, have mercy upon us. Amen. Jesus Christ is risen from the dead, by death He hath overcome death, and to the sleeping in the tombs life He hath given. [Three times.]
