Lord Jesus Christ, God, for Thy precious and holy name's sake, and for the sake of all Thy saints, save me, a sinner.

O Lord, from the defilement of sin, cleanse Thou my soul and body, that I may worthily serve Thee in purity and holiness. Amen.

Through the intercessions of Thy Most Pure Mother and of all the Saints, have mercy on us. Amen.

O Lord our God, most bountiful and lover of mankind, most holy and ever at rest in Thy high exalted throne, who wast seen by the apostle Peter with a glorious vision, let nothing unclean or impure enter my mind from things created for food and enjoyment, and as Thy chosen vessel, Apostle Paul, didst command with pure words: Thou art thyself Most High, calling upon Thee with the fearful and most holy name of Thine, and by the sign and life-giving seal of Thy precious cross, bless and cleanse Thy servant [and me], defiled from every unclean spirit, from all thoughts and conjectures, from every sin and deceit, from every yielding to evil and from every vanity, and from every sorrow, and from every sickness, and from every opposition to the sweetness of God. And now, O unworthy servant [and me] Thyself, grant that I may worthily serve Thy most holy mysteries. And first cleanse my soul and body from all uncleanness, and forgive every sin, voluntary or involuntary, which I have committed in all days of my life, by word, deed, and thought, day and night, until now. And give me, O Lord, to partake of these fearful heavenly mysteries, not for judgment or condemnation, but for the forgiveness of sins, and for the coming age, and a living participation in the joy which Thou didst prepare as Thy true servant. Preserve me, O all-powerful Lord, from every sin and sorrow, keep me blameless and unblemished from every disease against the devil: and give me, O Lord, to serve Thee with humility and righteousness until my last day and hour, for Thou art blessed and glorified of all, O God our Lord, to Thee we send our praises, with Thy Father and Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Of sin, and by reason thereof doth corruption arise in sleep:

O that judgest one righteous, i.e., thy brother, who is very sinful: from lofty and proud heart, which also is sin. From many days and feasts, where it becometh not; as also of superfluity, as if it were superfluous: from bodily weakness, and some sicknesses: from devilish envy: yet both are without sin, but they are called a worm.

The hours of Pascha.

It behoveth to know, because from this Wednesday of the great week of Pascha, even until Thursday, even at hours and vespers thus they sing.

In Thee, O Father, and in Thee, O Son, and in The Holy Spirit. Amen. Glory. The Lord Jesus Christ is glorified, praying for the forgiveness of our fathers and Theotokos, and all saints, have mercy upon us. Amen. Jesus Christ is risen from the dead, by death He has trampled death, and to the living He has given life in the tombs. [Three times.]
