O Lord Jesus Christ, our God, pray for us sinners, in Thy prayers and by Thy holy prayers, and save me, a sinner.

O Lord, from the profanation, pray:

Grant us repentance and cleansing of conscience,
That we may not defile Thy holy temple with our sins.
For Thou art ever merciful and full of compassion;
Thou dost cleanse the impure heart by Thine own grace.

Let not our transgressions multiply and lead us to destruction,
But turn our hearts unto Thee, O Lord, that we may find mercy.
For Thou art the Saviour of sinners, and hast promised forgiveness
To all who call upon Thee with a sincere heart.

O Lord, have mercy on us!

Lord God, our only Good and Lover of Mankind, our only True and Ever-resting, who wast seen by the Apostle Peter with unveiled face in the glory of the Lord's Most High Throne, let nothing unclean or impure enter my mind concerning those things which Thou hast created for food and enjoyment of man, and as Thy chosen vessel, Apostle Paul, didst command with pure precepts: Thou art Thyself most holy, calling by the fearful and terrible name of Thine own self, and by the sign and seal of Thy life-giving Cross, bless and cleanse Thy servant [thy servant] who hath defiled himself from every unclean spirit, from every dream and vision of deceit, from every sin and all guile, from every yielding to it and from every vanity, and from every sickness, and from every sighing, and from every thing contrary to the sweetness of God. And now, O unworthy servant [thy servant], vouchsafe to serve Thy most holy mysteries by Thine mercy. Before cleansing my soul and body from all uncleanness, forgive me all sin, voluntary and involuntary, which I have committed in all days of my life, by deed, word, and thought, day and night, until now. And give me, O Lord, the service of these most terrible heavenly orders, and partake of Thy most holy mysteries not for judgment or condemnation, but for the remission of sins, and for the coming of Thy eternal age, in which Thou didst prepare me as a true servant of Thine. Keep me, O all-powerful Master, from every sin and sorrow, keep me unspotted and without blemish from every disease against the devil: and give me, O Lord, to serve Thee in holiness and righteousness until the last day and hour, for Thou art blessed and glorified of all, O our God, and unto Thee we send glory with Thy Father and Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Of sin, and by reason thereof lustful dreams arise in sleep:

To judge sincerely and to call a brother his own: this is very sinful. For high-mindedness and pride are also sinful. Many days of fasting and feasting—this is fitting. From the natural without movement and without thought, it flows forth, as does excess: from bodily weakness and certain sicknesses: from devilish envy. Therefore, some are guiltless; but both are called foul.

The hours of Pascha.

It behooves one to know, since from this Wednesday of the great week of Pascha, even until Thursday, the hours and vespers thus are sung.

In His Name, and in Thy, and in the Holy Spirit. Amen. Glory. The Lord Jesus Christ is glorified, praying for our salvation, for the venerable and God-bearing fathers and mothers of our house, and all the saints, have mercy on us. Amen. Jesus Christ rose from the dead, by death trampling death, and giving life to the living in the tombs. [Three times.]
