I cried out the stichera to the Lord.

Having had the victory, O Christ, even from hell, you ascended to the cross, so that in the darkness of death you raised those who sat with You, who set freedom among the dead. O Omnipotent Savior, O Omnipotent Savior, have mercy on us.

Theotokos.

Who will not please You, Most Holy Virgin? who will not sing of Your most pure Nativity? Flightless, for from the Father the only-begotten Son, who rose forth from the Father, also passed from You, pure, indescribably incarnated, by nature God, and by nature being man for our sake, not divided into two persons, but unmergedly cognizable into two natures. Pray to him, pure, all-blessed one, to have mercy on our souls. Who will not please You, Most Holy Virgin? Who will not sing of Your virgin birth? For before all ages, the only-begotten Son, who arose from the Father, came forth from You pure, indescribably incarnate, being God by nature and becoming man by nature for us - not being divided into two persons, but being recognized in the duality of natures, unfused (united). Pray to Him, pure, all-blessed one, for the salvation of our souls.

Stichera on verse.

Thy Resurrection, O Christ the Savior, the angels sing in heaven, and grant us on earth to glorify Thee with a pure heart.

Troparion.

The angelic forces are upon Thy tomb, and the guards are dead: and Mary stood in the tomb, seeking Thy most pure body. Thou hast captivated hell, without being tempted by it: thou hast met the Virgin, giving life: risen from the dead, O Lord, glory to Thee.

Prokeimenon.

Lord, raise up Your power and come to save us (Ps. 79:3).

Irmosy.

1. As Israel walked on dry land in the abyss, seeing the persecutor Pharaoh drowned, we sing a victorious song to God, crying out. Israel, having walked with their feet through the depths of the sea as if on dry land, and seeing their pursuer Pharaoh drowning, cried out: we sing a victorious song to God.

3. There is no one holy like You, O Lord my God, who has lifted up the horn of Your faithful, O Good One, and established us on the rock of Your confession.

4. Christ is my strength, God and Lord, the honorable Church sings divinely, crying out, celebrating in the Lord with a pure meaning.

5. With Thy divine light, O Blessed One, illumine the souls of Thy morning with love, I pray, lead Thee, the Word of God, the true God, crying out from the darkness of sin.

6. The sea of life, raised in vain by misfortunes and storms, flowed to Your quiet refuge crying out to You: lift up my belly from aphids, O Most Merciful One.

7. The angel made the furnace the venerable youth, and the Chaldeans were exhorted by the scorching command of God to the tormentor to cry out: Blessed art thou, O God of our fathers.

8. You poured out dew from the flames of the saints, and burned the righteous sacrifice with water: for you did everything, O Christ, only as you willed. We extol You forever.

9. It is impossible for a man to see God; the angels do not dare to look at the Worthiness: but by You, O All-Pure One, having appeared as a man, the Word was embodied. It is majestic, and with the heavenly howls we please You. I fervently pray to You, O Good One, with Your Divine light, enlighten the souls of those who early turn (with prayer) to You, so that they come to know You, the Word of God, the true God, who calls forth sins from the darkness.

Looking at the sea of life, agitated by a storm of temptations, and entering Your peaceful haven, I call to You: rescue my life from destruction, O Most Merciful.

The angel made a fiery cave covered with dew for the godly young men; The divine command that burned the Chaldeans disposed the tormentor to cry out: Blessed are You, God of our fathers.

From the flame You brought out dew for the saints (youths) and You ignited the sacrifice of the righteous with water; for You do all things by one will, Christ. We exalt You forever.

It is impossible for people to contemplate God, at whom the ranks of Angels do not dare to look; but through You, O all-pure One, the Word incarnate became visible to mortals. By magnifying Him with the heavenly powers, we please You.

At the liturgy the prokeimenon.

Save, O Lord, Thy people, and bless Thy inheritance (Ps. 27:9).
