You were the mentor and teacher of the path leading to life:/ first, like our Father Tryphon,/ you came to part of the Norwegian land/ and in the last ends of the northern countries languages You enlightened,/ giving birth to water and the Holy Spirit,/ and your holy children in the barren desert,/ like an olive tree, you planted,/ the great abode of the Holy and Life-Giving, You created the Consubstantial and Indivisible Trinity/ and gathered a multitude of monks./ Thus, as an apostle and a desert dweller, you are equally honored,/ diligently falling down, crying out:/ pray to all God for the Russian land, for your region and for all the people // who honor your memory.
