Like the never-setting sun has risen for us today/ through your radiant prayers, like our Father Marone,/ who reached a certain mountain/ and there the wicked living on it became,/ for surpassing yours Virtue to God,/ and there he will find an idol’s treasury. Having sanctified you to God, you abided in him,/ and having seen your God, the Lover of Mankind, of your deeds and labors,/ gave you His gift,/ through which your name spread throughout mankind,/ to heal sorrow, fire and shaking those who come running to you with faith./ Moreover, we call to you:/ Rejoice, our speedy healer;/ Rejoice, our warm intercessor,/ standing before the Most Holy Trinity,/ praying for those who call on the name your holy one, // may it deliver you from these grave sorrows and save our souls.
