Oh, Great Pleasant of Christ and glorious Healing Great Martyr Panteleimon! With your soul in heaven stand before the throne of God and enjoy His Trinitarian glory, rest in your holy body and face on earth in Divine churches, and with the grace given by You from above, exuding various miracles, look with Your merciful eye on the people who are coming and more honorably than Your icon, tenderly praying and asking You for healing help and intercession; extend your warm prayers to the Lord our God, ask for forgiveness of sins for our souls. Because of our iniquity, we do not dare to lift our hair to the heights of heaven, nor to raise our prayerful voice lower to His unapproachable glory in the Divine; but with a contrite heart and a humble spirit, You are a merciful intercessor to the Lady, and we call for a prayer book for us sinners, for You have received grace from Him to drive away illnesses and heal passions! We therefore ask you: do not despise us, unworthy, who pray to You and demand Your help!
Be a comforter to us in sorrows, a physician to the suffering in times of severe ills; to those attacked - a quick patron; for those who are ill, the giver of insight; we are the most ready intercessor and healer for those who are living and a baby in sorrow: intercede for everyone - everything useful for salvation, for through your prayers to the Lord God we have received grace and mercy - let us glorify all the good Source and Gift-Giver, the One God, in the Holy Trinity Slavimago: Father and Son and Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Oh, All-Praised, Holy Great Martyr and Wonderworker George! look upon us with Thy quick help, and beg God, the Lover of mankind: may He not judge us sinners according to our iniquities; but may He deal with us according to His great mercy! Do not despise our prayer, but ask us from Christ and our God; a quiet and God-pleasing life; mental and physical health; the earth is fertile and abundant in everything; and let us not turn into evil the good things that You have given us from the All-Bountiful God, but for the glory of His Holy Name and for the glorification of Your strong intercession! May He grant our Orthodox Emperor and the entire God-loving army, who are their companions, victory, and may He strengthen His Kingdom with unchangeable peace and blessing; rather, may His Angel protect us with a militia of Saints, so that we, upon our departure from this life, may be delivered from the wiles of the evil one and his difficult airy ordeals, and may present ourselves uncondemned to the throne of the Lord of Glory!
Hear us, Passion-Bearer of Christ George, and pray for us unceasingly to the Trinitarian Lord of all and God: that through His grace and love for mankind, through Your help and intercession, we may find mercy, with the Angels and Archangels and all the Saints, at the right hand of the Just Judge of the world, and I may glorify him, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and ever. Holy and great Archangel of God Michael! The Mysterious and Essential Trinity is the first in the Angels Primate; the guardian and guardian of the human race, crushing with your army the head of the proud star (Satan) in heaven and putting to shame the malice and deceit of him on earth! We resort to you with faith, and we pray to you with love: be an indestructible shield and visor (helmet) firmly to the Holy Church and our Orthodox Fatherland, protecting them with your lightning sword from all enemies, visible and invisible! Be a Guardian Angel; wise is the giver of advice and helper to our Most Pious Emperor, bringing to Him from the Throne of the King of Kings, enlightenment and strength; joy, peace and consolation! Be the Leader and invincible companion - to our Christ-loving army, crowning it with glory and victory over the adversaries; May all who oppose us know that God and His Holy Angels are with us! Do not forsake us, O Archangel of God, with your help and intercession, who today glorify Your Holy Name!
Behold, even though we are many sinners; Otherwise, we do not want to perish in our iniquities, but to turn to the Lord and be quickened by Him to do good deeds. Illuminate our minds with the light of God’s face, which shines on Your lightning-fast brow: that we may understand that God’s will is good and perfect for us, and see all that it is fitting for us to do and that which we should despise and abandon. Strengthen with the grace of the Lord our weak will and weak will: so that, having established ourselves in the law of the Lord, let us cease to be dominated (submit) by earthly thoughts and lusts of the flesh, be carried away in the likeness of thoughtless children, - the soon perishing beauties (charms, seductions) of this world, as if for the sake of what is corruptible and earthly, - insanely forget - eternal heavenly!
Above all of these, ask us from above for the spirit of true repentance; unfeigned sadness and God and contrition for our sins: let us spend the remaining number of days of our temporary life (use) not in pleasing our feelings and working with our passions; but to blot out the evil we have done, with tears of faith and contrition of heart; feats of purity and holy deeds of mercy! When the hour of our death and liberation from the bonds of this mortal body approaches, do not leave us. Archangel of God, defenseless against the spirits of wickedness in heaven, accustomed to block the human soul from rising to heaven: may we, protected by you, unquestioningly reach those glorious villages of paradise, - where there is no sorrow, no sighing, - but endless life, - and being honored to see the Most Blessed Face of our All-Good Lord and Master, - fallen, with tears at His foot, - in joy and tenderness we exclaim: Glory to Thee, our dearest Redeemer, who, for Thy great love for us unworthy, Thou hast deigned to send Thy Angels to serve our salvation.
