All-powerful and all-holy Archbishop, great wonderworker, saint of Christ, O Nicholas, man of God and faithful servant, desired husband, chosen vessel, strong pillar of the Church, bright light, shining and illuminating all the world! Thou art the first-born, as a flower that blossoms in the Lord's courtyard: alive in the midst of the world, thou wast enveloped with the fragrance of holiness, and from thence didst flow forth divine grace. By thy journeying, O glorious father, the sea was parted, when many wonders wrought by thee were celebrated in the city baruski, from east to west, praising thee throughout.
O wonderful and miraculous wonderworker, swift helper, warm protector, good shepherd, saving the word of God's flock from all calamities! We glorify Thee and honor Thee, for Thou art the hope of all Christians, fount of miracles, defender of the faithful, wise teacher, almighty sustainer, we who are hungry with food, weeping with joy, naked with clothing, sick with healing, drowning in peril with salvation, imprisoned with freedom, widows and orphans with sustenance, wholehearted guardian, gentle instructor of infants, guide for the elderly, preacher to those in fasting, laborers in peace, poor and rich with abundant wealth. Hear us, O praying to Thee and fleeing under Thy roof, for through Thy intercession and warm advocacy before the Most High, we beseech Thee. Keep this monastery [and this church] and all the city, and every Christian land, and all its inhabitants, from every calamity by Thy help. For indeed, indeed, as much as prayer is powerful, hastening to good: to Thee, O most powerful, before the Most High, we come with humble prayers, beseeching Thy warm intercession and advocacy.
Keep us, O good shepherd, from all enemies, destruction, fear, famine, pestilence, fire, sword, invasions of foreigners, in all our sorrows and tribulations, give us Thy hand of help, and open the doors of mercy. For we are unworthy to behold the heights of heaven, for the multitude of our sins: bound by the chains of sin, neither have we created nor preserved the commandments of Him. Therefore, with bowed heads and humbled hearts before our Creator, and Thy fatherly intercession, we beseech Thee: help us, O good husbandman, that we may not perish through our own unrighteousness; deliver us from all evil and from every thing opposing us, guide us, and strengthen our heart in the right faith by Thy intercession and advocacy, neither with wounds nor with judgment, nor with death, nor any wrath of our Creator. But let us live peaceably here, and be worthy to see the good on earth, praising Father and Son and Holy Spirit, the One glorified and worshipped God now and forever and into the ages of ages. Amen.
O all-holy Nicholas, ever-merciful Lord, warm our protector and in every tribulation a swift helper! Help me, the sinful and wearied one, in this present life; pray to the Lord God that He grant me forgiveness of all my sins, both from my youth until now, in all my life, by deed, word, thought, and all my feelings: and at the departure of my soul, help me with thy intercession. Pray to the Lord God for all creation, deliver me from the fiery torments and eternal suffering: that I may always glorify the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Most merciful Father Nicholas, shepherd and teacher of all, to whom with faith we come for thy intercession, and by fervent prayer invoke thee! Swiftly draw near and deliver the flock of Christ from wolves that destroy it: and guard and preserve every land of Christians from worldly temptations, fear, invasion of strangers and mutual strife, from famine, flood, fire, sword and sudden death. Even as thou didst forgive three men sitting in prison, and delivered them from the anger of the king and the stroke of his sword: so also forgive me, O my soul, by word and deed in the darkness of sins wherein I am living, and deliver me from the wrath of God and eternal punishment: that through thy intercession and help, by thy mercy and grace, the peace of Christ may be given to me to live in this present world, and deliver me from the torments of hell, and grant my right hand with all saints to stand for ever and ever. Amen.
