Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee!
O Lord, who bringest forth all things from that which is not, by Thy Word created and made effectual through the Spirit, O All-powerful King in heaven, confirm me in Thine love.
By Thy holy Passion the impious is shamed, for He hath made him to fall who had cast down; but Thou hast exalted the humble with Thy horn of salvation, in Thy resurrection.
Blestiye, pravoslavlennyye propovedyey, kak voda pokryy morya chelovekolubche: voskres bo ot groba, trishteskiy otkryl yesi svet.
The Theotokos:
Glory be to Thee, O City of the Living God, ever in Thy presence glorified by the true worshippers: for Thou art our Lady, who hath caused God Who is on earth to wither away.
And He saith:
Irmos: Luke hath smitten the enemy.
O sanctified temple, Virgin of Idolis: in thee didst thou cast out uncleanness; for Jesus Christ, the Ever-Divine, stretched forth His hand upon thee.
Let all faithful receive the life-giving tomb, bowing before Thee: for in Thee didst Thou bury and raise up truly Jesus our Lord.
And Thee, O Lord.

Staff of Jesse, prophesied and blossoming twofold, flower of Christ, Thou hast shown us: O King, Thou art the Lord.
By the divine participation thou hast made earthly creatures to partake, O Lord, from thy very flesh; thou didst receive them as an host: Thou art the Lord.
