Upon the hymns of the sticharies, the Gloria is sung, voice:

Every breath and every creature doth glorify the Lord,
for by His death He hath abolished death,
that He might show unto men Thy resurrection, O Only-begotten,
since Thou art the One Lover of mankind.

Let the Jews say how warriors have slain those keeping watch for the King; for why should a stone preserve life of stones; either let them bury the dead, or bow to him risen, saying with us: Glory to the multitude of thy mercies, O Saviour, glory to thee.

Let the people rejoice and be glad, the angel sitting on the stone of the tomb, he said to us: Jesus Christ is risen from the dead, He has brought salvation to the world, and fulfilled all the desires of every heart: let the people rejoice and be glad.

Angel of joy, who rejoiced before thy conception by the Lord, bringeth thee more glorious gifts: an angel also hath brought a stone famous of thy tomb, sealing thy resurrection: sorrowful is the place of the Angel, but gladness foretelleth its image: this same in death's stead preacheth the life-giver to us, therefore we cry to thee: O Giver of good things, to Thee glory in heaven.

Mourning with tears at thy grave, O Myrrh-bearer, ye have fulfilled their lips with joy, when they said: Arise, O Lord.

Let the tongues and peoples of the Theotokos, our God, praise Him who for our sake endured the will of crucifixion, and was in hell three days: and let them bow down to Him from among the dead by His resurrection, by which Thou hast enlightened all the ends of the world.

Rasplyat i pogrben byl Khristos, gakhove izvolil, isprovergl smerть, i voskresl voskhodit v slavě, gakhovo Bogu i Vlchca, daruyya mirovi zhiznь vechnuю i velui moliti.

Verily, truly, without law, sealing the stone, greater wonders hast Thou granted us! To them hast Thou given understanding to keep watch, today passing through the grave, and saidst: Say ye to those sleeping, "Lo, the disciples have come, and stolen Him away." And who would steal a dead man, much more the naked; Himself arose of His own authority as God, leaving in the grave the thief of His body: Come, see, O Jews, how not broken are the seals, death conquered and giving endless life to the race of man, and bidding us to pray.
