On the hymns of praise, stichera are sung, glas:

Every breath and every creature shall glorify the Lord,
for by thy death thou hast abolished death,
and hast revealed to the human race
the resurrection of the dead,
thou alone, O Lover of mankind.

Let the Jews say how warriors have slain those keeping watch for the King; for why should a stone preserve life of stones; either let them bury the dead, or bow to him who rose again, speaking with us: glory in multitude of thy bounties, save us, glory to thee.

Let the people rejoice and be glad, the angel sitting upon the stone of the tomb, he saith to us: Jesus Christ is risen from the dead, O Saviour of the world, and fulfilled all the desires of every heart: let the people rejoice and be glad.

Angel of joy, before Thy conception by the Lord, didst bring glad tidings: an angel also stoned thy tomb with thy resurrection: sorrow hath given place to joy, proclaiming this in our death: O Giver of life, unto Thee all glory.

Mourning with tears upon thy grave, O Myrrhbearer, and thou hast fulfilled their mouths with joy, when they were saying: Arise, O Lord.

Let the tongues and peoples of the Theotokos our God praise Him, for His will's sake who endured suffering and was in the depths of hell three days: and let them bow down to Him, who rose from the dead, by whom thou hast enlightened all the ends of the world.

Hanged and buried was Thou, O Jesus Christ, as Thou didst will; thou didst trample down death by death, and didst rise in glory, for God and Master, granting the world life eternal and bestowing mercy.

Verily, truly, those who are lawless and seal the stone, have wrought greater wonders for us! They have kept watch over our reason, passed today from the grave, and said to us: "Say ye, although we were sleeping, behold, the disciples came, and stole Him away." And who would steal a dead man? More than that, one naked; Himself arose of His own authority as God, leaving in the tomb both the seal and the thief: Come, see, O Jews, how death is overcome, and eternal life given to the race of man, and let great mercy prevail.
