On the hymns of praise, psalms are sung, voice:

Every breath and every creature, thou glorifiest the Lord, because by thy death thou hast abolished death, that thou mightest show unto men thy resurrection, O Only-begotten of the Father.

Let the Jews say how warriors have slain those keeping watch over the King; for why should a stone preserve life; either let them bury the dead, or let them bow to him who rose again, speaking with us: glory in multitude of thy bounties, save us, glory to thee.

Let the people rejoice and be glad, the angel sitting on the stone of the tomb, he saith to us: Jesus Christ is risen from the dead, O Saviour of the world, and fulfilled all the desires of salvation: let the people rejoice and be glad.

Angel of joy, who rejoiced before thy conception by the Lord, bringeth thee more glorious gifts: an angel also hath brought a stone famous of thy tomb, sealing thy resurrection: sorrowful is the place of the Angel, but gladness foretelling thereof: this same in death's stead preacheth to us the life-giver, therefore we cry to thee: O Giver of good things, to Thee glory in heaven.

Mvira soblězami na grobъ tvoy ženy, i ispolnīshasę radyosti ustaǎ ih, vnegda glagolati: voskresye gdȕ.

Let the tongues and peoples of the Theotokos, our Lord's, praise Him according to His will, for the sake of Him who endured crucifixion and was in hell three days: and let them bow down before His resurrection from the dead, by which Thou hast enlightened all the ends of the world.

Rasplyat i pogrben byl khriste, gakhove izvolil ysprovegl' smer't', voskres' v slav'e, gakhova bogu i vlaska, dar'ya mirovi zhizn' vech'nuyu i vel'iyu milosti.

Verily, truly, those who are lawless and seal the stone, have wrought greater wonders upon us! To them is given to keep watch over reason, today passing through the grave, and they spake: Say ye to the sleepers, "Lo, the disciples came, and stole Him away." And who steals a dead man, more than that which is naked; Himself arose of His own authority as God, leaving in the grave the one who buried Him: Come, see, O Jews, how not broken are the seals, death conquered and giving to the human race endless life, and let great mercy be entreated.
