On the hymns of praise, psalms are sung, and the voice says:
Every breath and every creature doth glorify the Lord,
for by His death He hath abolished death,
that He might show unto men Thy resurrection, O Only-begotten,
since Thou art the One Lover of mankind.
Let the Jews say how warriors have slain those keeping watch over the King; for why should a stone preserve life of stones; either let them bury the dead, or bow to him who rose again, speaking with us: glory in multitude of thy bounties, our Saviour, glory to thee.
Let the people rejoice and be glad, the angel sitting on the stone of the tomb, he said to us: Jesus Christ is risen from the dead, He has brought salvation to the world, and fulfilled all the desires of every heart: let the people rejoice and be glad.
Angel of gladness, who rejoiced before thy conception by the Lord, bringeth thee more glorious gifts: an angel also brought a stone from the famous tomb of thine own grave at thy resurrection, sealing it: sorrow hath given place to joy, proclaiming the image thereof: this very spot in death, preacheth unto us the life-giver, wherefore we cry to thee: O Giver of good things, glory be to thee, O Lord.
Mvira soblizheshá s lěziami na grob tiivy, i ispolnishásya radyosti usta ih, vnégda glagoláli: voskresé Gdje.
Let the tongues and peoples of the Theotokos, our God, praise Him who for our sake endured the will of suffering, and was three days in the depths of Hades: and let them bow down to Him from among the dead by His resurrection, by which Thou hast enlightened all the ends of the world.
Rasplyat i pogrben byl Khristos, galko izvolil, isprovergl smerть, voskresl vosli vslavě, gal bogu i vlchca, daruya mirovui zhit' vechnuju i velju moliti.
Verily, truly, those who are lawless and seal the stone, have wrought greater wonders for us! To them is given to keep watch over reason, today passing through the grave, and they spake: Say ye, how to the sleeping ones, came the disciples, and stole him away. And who would steal a dead man, more than one naked; Himself rose again of His own authority, as God, leaving in the grave both the sealers and the buryers: Come, see, O Jews, how not broken is the seal, death overcome, and giving to the human race endless life, and let great mercy prevail.
