Hear, O Lord, my prayer; preserve my life from the fear of the enemy.

Who hast covered me with the shield of thy protection, from the assembly of evil doers, from the multitude of workers of iniquity.

That they have sharpened their tongues as a sword; they strung bow, a bitter thing they have devised.

They harden themselves in a wicked purpose: they speak of laying snares suddenly; and, “Who will know them?”

ѕ҃. Ѹ҆тверди́ша себѣ̀ сло́во лꙋка́вое: повѣ́даша скры́ти сѣ́ть, рѣ́ша: кто̀ ѹ҆́зритъ и҆̀хъ;
They devised wickedness; they spoke of laying snares: "Who shall see us?

But sinners tasted it and are no more; seeking sin, they shall find it not; a man and a deep heart shall come.

So they shall lift up the arrow of God; their wounds became the glory of the children.

And their tongues were confounded, all who saw them, being thrown into confusion.

‹. And every man feared, and they proclaimed the works of God, and his wonders they understood.

The just shall rejoice in the Lord and hope in Him; all who are upright in heart shall be praised.
Glory:
