Lord, hear my prayer, and let my supplication come before Thee in truth; hear me in Thy righteousness: enter not into judgment with Thy servant, for no one living shall be justified before Thee.
For He hath driven away the enemy from my soul, and it was humbled even to the dust of my life. Thou hast set me down among the dead, as though I were a man of olden days.
My spirit within me is faint; my heart is troubled. I have remembered the days of old; I have learned in all Thy works; by Thy hands I have been taught.
I lift up my hands to Thee: my soul is like a land without water before Thee.
Hasten to hear me, Lord; let not my spirit depart: hide not Thy face from me, lest I be like those descending into the pit.
Let me hear of Thy mercy in the morning, for upon Thee have I relied. Tell me, O Lord, where is my way, whither shall I go? For unto Thee have I taken my soul.
Change me from the enemies who are against me; to Thee have I fled, teach me to do Thy will, for Thou art my God.
Thy good Spirit shall guide me on earth in righteousness. By Thy name, O Lord, live Thou and by Thy righteousness hast Thou delivered my soul from sorrow: with Thy mercy hast Thou satisfied the desires of mine enemies, and Thou hast destroyed all who assail my soul; for I am Thy servant.

From on high do Thou look down, and with Thy merciful countenance receive our supplications, visit us with Thine unspeakable mercies, O most merciful Master, by the prayers of Theotokos, grant to our souls great mercy.
To the Most Pure Theotokos, today we draw near with deep compunction of heart and prostrate ourselves in confession, calling out from the depths of our soul: Lady, help us, having mercy on Thy servant, hasten to save us from the multitude of our transgressions, for Thou art our only hope.

Not shall we ever be silent, O Power of the Theotokos, speaking Thy might: for if Thou hadst not stood before as one praying, who would have delivered us from such great calamities; and who would have preserved unto this day our freedom? Not shall we cease to call upon Thee, O Lady, for Thou dost ever save Thy servants from all bitter adversities.
O Lord, have mercy on me, according to the multitude of Thy mercies and the abundance of Thy forgivenesses, cleanse my transgressions. More than that, wash away from me my unrighteousness, and from my sin cleanse me. For I know mine own transgression, and my sin is ever before me. In one alone have I sinned, and have wrought evil before Thee, that Thou mightest be justified in Thy words, and overcome when Thou judgest Me. Lo, in my unrighteousness was I conceived, and in sin my mother bore me. For Thou lovedst truth, O Thou hidden and mysterious wisdom of God, and didst visit me. Pour upon me the dew of Thy Spirit, and cleanse me: blot out my sins more than snow melts. Let the ear that hears give joy and gladness, and let the bones of the humble rejoice. Turn away from me, O Face of Thine, my iniquities, and cleanse all my unrighteousnesses. Make a clean heart within me, O Lord, and renew my spirit in Thy womb. Do not turn away Thy face from me, nor let Thy veneration depart from me. Reward me with joy of Thy salvation, and establish me in the house of Thy handmaidens. Teach me the way of Thee, that the ungodly may be turned to Thee. Deliver me from the blood of Thine enemies, O Saviour of mine, and my tongue shall praise Thy righteousness. Thou art He who heardst my prayers, and they shall proclaim Thy glory. For though Thou wouldest have offered a sacrifice, I would have given it: but Thou didst not will the sacrifice of the broken spirit; for a contrite and humble heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise. Blessed are ye, O sons, by Thy good pleasure, that ye may build up the walls of Jerusalem. Then shalt Thou will the offering of righteousness, the lifting up and the all-consuming: then shall they lay upon Thine altar young bullocks.

O Soul/Spirit, I beseech Thee, O Heart of sorrow, break Thou the spiritual affliction and my grief: for thou, O God-bearing, didst give birth in silence to the Lord, alone pre-eminent.

Heal me, O Thou many-times wounded Healer, for within my soul the enemies have dwelt, and ever they struggle with me.
Lord, have mercy. [Three times.]
Venerable is the intercession of the Christians, unblameworthy, the supplication to the Creator unshakeable. Not despise the voices of thy sinful prayers, but hasten in our behalf, verily for good unto help, calling upon thee: Hasten to our prayer, and strive with us in supplication, thy intercessor ever before the Theotokos, who prayeth to thee.
Lord: Stretch out Thy hands, by which Thou didst receive the whole world as a gift from the Lord, for the multitude of Thy goodness: do not forsake us always those who hope in Thee, by Thy blameless and unceasing prayer, and grant to our souls Thy mercy, ever flowing: for we, sinners, beseech Thee to be our advocate before those who have need of Thee. But since Thou art full of mercy, hasten to our prayers, and strive in supplication on behalf of those who call upon Thee, O Theotokos, praying always for them.

Guardian of the Angel, O our God,

And the Helper of those who put their trust in Thee.
Through Thine intercession, O Venerable Guardian,
Grant peace and salvation to Thy people.

O Lord: Having wounded my soul with many spiritual deceptions, Thou, O holy Preserver, hast granted me the unspeakable glory of Thy heavenly mercies and dost sing with the hosts of the bodiless powers of Thy Theotokos. Have mercy on me and preserve me, enlighten my thoughts with pure intentions, that by Thy glory I may be enriched, and cast down those who deceive me with evil counsels, and make me worthy of Thy divine service.

O Lord Jesus Christ, Thou Who Healest by Thy own passions my passions and curest me by the names of Thine, grant to me, who hath greatly sinned against Thee, tears of compunction, that they may dissolve my body from the corruption of the life-giving body of Thine. And let my soul be refreshed with Thy precious blood, which Thou didst shed for me in the bitterness of my adversary: raise up mine heart to Thee, which is bowed down, and lift me out of the pit of destruction, since I have no repentance, no compunction, no tears of the Comforter that would exalt me to my inheritance. I darkened myself with earthly passions, unable to look to Thee in sickness, unable to be warmed by Thy tears of love. But O Lord God, Thou art the treasure-house of good things; grant me complete repentance and a loving heart seeking Thine: grant me Thy grace, and renew in me the eyes of Thy image.
I left Thee, but Thou didst not leave me; go forth to seek my salvation: raise me up to Thy fold, and join me with the chosen flock of Thy sheep. Nurture me among them from the strength of Thy divine mysteries, by thy fervent prayers and all Thy holy psalms. Amen.

Hearken, all-holy Theotokos, who dost read the divine scriptures, O Lady, accept these our humble gifts, offered by thy unworthy servants, from all peoples and tribes, both heavenly and earthly, exalted above all. For thou hast given us strength with thee, and through thee we have known God's presence, and have partaken of His holy body and precious blood. Therefore, blessed art thou among the generations, O most glorious, brighter than cherubim and more honorable than seraphim. And now, O All-hymned Theotokos, do not cease to pray for thy unworthy servants, that we may be delivered from every counsel of the crafty and from every adversity, and preserved unharmed from all evil influences of the devil. But even unto the end, keep us under thy unsullied prayers: for by thy intercession and help, we beseech Thee to offer glory, praise, thanksgiving, and adoration in unity with the Holy Trinity, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

O Holy Theotokos, to thee I do fervently pray, guardian of mine, given to me for the keeping of my soul and body from the stain of original sin through holy baptism. For by my own slothfulness and my own tongue, I have provoked thy precious light with my habitual offenses: lies, slanders, envy, accusations, contempt, disobedience, hatred of brother, gluttony, avarice, drunkenness, much speaking, vain thoughts, proud habit, and lustful indulgence; and I cleanse my self-will from all fleshly desires. For even the unreasoning brute does not act according to its own will! How then canst thou look upon me or come near me as one who reeks of death? With thine eyes, O Holy Theotokos, look upon me, entwining me in thy holy prayers; that I may be able to ask for forgiveness with bitter and penitent tears, in which I fall daily and nightly, at every hour. But I pray to thee, guardian of mine, O Holy One, have mercy on this sinful and unworthy servant [and intercede for him], be my helper and protector against the adversary, through thy holy prayers and by partaking with all the saints always, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
