O Lord, have mercy on me, according to the great mercy of Thine and the multitude of Thy mercies cleanse my iniquity. More than that, wash away from me my iniquity, and from my sin cleanse me. For I know mine iniquity, and my sin is before me openly. For I have sinned against Thee alone, and have done deceitfully before Thee, that Thou mightest be justified in Thy words, and overcome when Thou judgest Me. Let the two holy ones pray for me, Thy servant, before the beneficent and preserver, my angel. And guide me to fulfill the commandments of Thy Son and the Creator of mine.

Venerable is the intercession of Christians, unblameworthy, the entreaty to the Creator unshakeable. Not despise the glas of thy sinful prayers, but hasten in our behalf, verily for help to those that call upon thee: Hasten to our supplications, and strive with us in prayer, thy intercessor ever before the Theotokos, who prayeth to thee.

Lord: Stretch out Thy hands, by which Thou didst receive all from the Master, for the multitude of Thy goodness: do not forsake us always those who hope in Thee, but by Thy ever-blessed and unceasing prayer, grant to us mercy, and feed our souls with Thy mercy, flowing forth into the ages: for we, sinners, beseech Thee as a merciful intercessor for them that are in need and sorrow. But since Thou art full of mercy, hasten to our prayers, and strive to be heard by those who pray to Thee, O Theotokos, who seek Thy face.

Sanctify my foulness by thy holiness, O Guardian of mine, and from part of thine glory may I obtain blessing through thy prayers, and partaker of thy glory may I become.

Remember, O Man of Sorrows, how thou wast enslaved for the sake of sins by lies, calumnies, robbery, weakness, bitter sorrows, and wicked deeds; O sinful soul, was it thy will?

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

O Master Jesus Christ, Thou who dost heal my passions with Thy own sufferings and cure me with the names of Thine, grant to me, O many times fallen into sin, tears of compunction, that they may dissolve in my body the corruption of the life-giving body of Thine; and let my soul be refreshed by Thy precious blood, from the bitterness which the adversary has poured upon me: raise up my head to Thee, bowed down, and lift me out of the pit of destruction, for I have no repentance, no compunction, no tears of the Comforter, that would lift up children to their inheritance. I darkened myself in worldly passions, unable to look to Thee in sickness, unable to be warmed by Thy tears of love. But O Master, Thou who art the treasury of blessings, grant me complete repentance and a loving heart seeking Thine: grant me Thy grace, and renew in me the eyes of Thy image.
I left Thee, but Thou didst not leave me; go forth for my seeking: raise me to thy fold, and join me with the chosen flock of Thy. Teach me from among them by the prayers of Thy holy mysteries, and all Thy saints. Amen.

Receive, all-holy Theotokos, pre-emptress, the gifts Thou hast deigned to bestow upon Thy unworthy servants, from all peoples chosen, from every heavenly and earthly creature. For Thou hast given us strength with Thee, and by Thee we have known God, and have partaken of His holy body and precious blood. Therefore, blessed art Thou among women, O Ever-Blessed, brighter than cherubim and more glorious than seraphim. And now, O All-Praised Theotokos, do not cease to pray for Thy unworthy servants, that we may be delivered from every counsel of the wicked and every adversity, and preserved unharmed from every evil temptation by the devil. But even unto the end, keep us under thy unsullied prayers: for through Thy intercession and help, we beseech Thee to offer glory, praise, thanksgiving, and worship for all things in one God and Creator, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Hallowed Theotokos, to thee I do fervently pray, Guardian of mine, given to me for the keeping of my soul and body from the stain of original sin through holy Baptism. For by my own slothfulness and my own tongue, I have provoked thy precious light with my habitual offenses: lies, slanders, envy, accusations, contempt, disobedience, hatred of brothers, and memory of evil; greed for money, adultery, pride, avarice, drunkenness, overeating, much speaking, vain thoughts, crafty practices, boastful habit, and wanton indulgence. I beseech thee to cleanse my will from all fleshly desires. For even the unreasoning brute does not act according to its own will! How then canst thou look upon me or come near me as a foul-smelling dog? With thine eyes, O Hallowed Theotokos, behold me, entwining myself in filth; that I may be able to beg forgiveness with bitter and vain works, in which I fall every day and night, at all times. But I pray to thee, Guardian of mine, Hallowed One, have mercy on this sinful and unworthy servant [and disciple], be my helper and protector against the adversary, through thy holy prayers and the partaking of Thy Body and Blood, so that with all the saints, always, now and forevermore.
