Sweetened Thou hast me with the love of Jesus, and changed me with Thy divine affection: but I fell into the fire of spiritual sin, and Thou wilt satisfy thereby to enjoy delight, that I may glorify Thee more highly, appearing nigh unto Thy presence.
In the light of thy holy light, as in a place unworthy; yet I dare to come into the throne, where my vestment accuses me, for it is not bridal, and loosed and cast out from among the angels: cleanse me, O Lord, the foulness of my soul, and save me, for thou art a lover of mankind.
