Ѹ҆слади́лъ мѧ̀ є҆сѝ любо́вїю хрⷭ҇тѐ, и҆ и҆змѣни́лъ мѧ̀ є҆сѝ бжⷭ҇твеннымъ твои́мъ раче́нїемъ: но попалѝ ѻ҆гне́мъ невеще́ственнымъ грѣхѝ моѧ̑, и҆ насы́титисѧ є҆́же въ тебѣ̀ наслажде́нїѧ сподо́би, да ликꙋ́ѧ возвелича́ю бл҃же, два̀ пришє́ствїѧ твоѧ̑.
Thou hast sweetened me with the love of Christ, and changed me by Thy divine will: but I have fallen into the fire of spiritual sin, and Thou wilt fill me with the enjoyment thereof, that I may glorify Thee more highly, appearing nigh unto Thy presence.
Во свѣ́тлостехъ ст҃ы́хъ твои́хъ ка́кѡ вни́дꙋ недосто́йный; а҆́ще бо дерзнꙋ̀ совни́ти въ черто́гъ, ѻ҆де́жда мѧ̀ ѡ҆блича́етъ, ꙗ҆́кѡ нѣ́сть бра́чна, и҆ свѧ́занъ и҆зве́рженъ бꙋ́дꙋ ѿ а҆́гг҃лѡвъ: ѡ҆чи́сти гдⷭ҇и, скве́рнꙋ дꙋшѝ моеѧ̀, и҆ сп҃си́ мѧ, ꙗ҆́кѡ чл҃вѣколю́бецъ.
In the light of thy holy light, as in one unworthy; for I dare not to come into the throne, where my vestment defiles me, as it is not nuptial and bound and cast out by the angels: cleanse thou, O Lord, the darkness of my soul, and save me, for lover of man.
