O blessed Father Serapion, citizen of Heavenly Jerusalem! Today you stand before the throne of the Unapproachable Light, and there, as if in a mirror, you see all our needs and sorrows. Do not retreat from us in spirit, keeping us from the arrows of the enemy and all the charms of the demonic and the snares of the devil, our good shepherd. Look upon us mercifully, and lead us to the earth's adherents to the heights of heaven: ask through your intercession from our All-Merciful God the peace of His Church, under the sign of the Militant Cross, harmony in faith and unity of wisdom, destruction of vanity and schism, affirmation in good deeds, healing for the sick, consolation for the sad, intercession for the offended, help for the needy and from troubles liberation, and for all sinners, aversion and salvation from their sins. Do not disgrace us, who flow to you with faith: accept our prayers and lift them up before the face of the Lord, so that we may receive your grace and timely help in our needs: strengthen our youth and confirm us in the faith, so that all good things from the mercy of the Master may be worthy of our acceptance through your prayers.

Let us also hasten to bear the yoke of Christ with complacency and patience and spiritual joy, and teach us to pray evermore, that we may be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, to whom you joyfully stand before through your labors and struggles, glorifying with all the saints in the Trinity the glorified Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.
