Bring to the Lord, sons of God, bring to the Lord, sons of rams, bring to the Lord glory and honor. Bring the glory of His name to the Lord, worship the Lord in the courtyard of His saints. The voice of the Lord is on the waters, the God of glory will roar, the Lord is on many waters. The voice of the Lord is in strength, the voice of the Lord is in splendor. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars, and the Lord tears down the cedars of Lebanon: and I am destroyed like the calf of Lebanon, and the beloved like the son of a unicorn. The voice of the Lord cutting off the flames of fire. The voice of the Lord shaking the desert, and the Lord will shake the Qaddian desert. The voice of the Lord brings forth the oil, and opens the oak groves, and in His church every word speaks of glory. The Lord inhabits the flood, and the Lord sits as King forever. The Lord will give strength to His people, the Lord will bless His people with peace. Bring to the Lord, sons of God, sacrifice lambs to the Lord! Give glory and honor to the Lord! Give the Lord glory to His name! Worship the Lord in His holy courtyard!
The voice of the Lord upon the waters: The God of glory thundered, the Lord upon many waters. The voice of the Lord is in power, the voice of the Lord is in splendor. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; and the Lord will cast down the cedars of Lebanon. And he will crush them to dust like the calf of Lebanon, but beloved Israel is strong like a young unicorn. The voice of the Lord cutting off the flames of fire. The voice of the Lord shaking the wilderness; and the Lord will shake the Qaddian wilderness. The voice of the Lord releases the deer from the burden and exposes the oak groves; and in His church everyone will proclaim His glory. The Lord populates the earth after the flood. And the Lord will sit as King forever. The Lord will give strength to His people, the Lord will bless His people with peace.
Psalm 29
A psalm of song, renewal for the house of David.
Psalm, song for the renewal of the house of David, 29.
I will exalt You, Lord, for You lifted me up, and You did not rejoice at my enemies over me. Lord my God, I cried to You and You healed me. Lord, you brought my soul up from hell, you saved me from those who went down into the pit. Sing to the Lord, you who are like Him, and confess the memory of His holiness. For wrath is in His wrath, and life is in His will: mourning may endure for an evening, and joy comes in the morning. But I said in my abundance: I will not move forever. Lord, by Your will, grant my kindness strength. You turned away Your face and was embarrassed. I will cry to You, Lord, and I will pray to my God. What is the use of my blood if I sometimes go into decay? Will the dust confess to You, or will He proclaim Your truth? The Lord heard and had mercy on me: The Lord was my helper. Thou hast turned my weeping into my joy: thou hast torn my sackcloth to pieces, and thou hast girded me with joy. For let my glory sing to You, and I will not be moved: Lord my God, I will confess to You forever.
I will exalt You, O Lord, for You raised me up and did not allow my enemies to triumph over me. Lord my God, I cried to You, and You healed me. Lord, You brought my soul out of hell, You removed me from those descending into the grave. Sing to the Lord, His righteous ones, remember and glorify His holiness! For His wrath punishes, and His will bestows life: mourning may endure in the evening, but joy in the morning. And I said in my prosperity: “I will never be shaken!” Lord, according to Your will, give strength to my soul! But You turned Your face away, and I fell into confusion. To You, Lord, I will cry and pray to my God. What will my blood give me when I undergo corruption? Will my ashes glorify You, or will they proclaim Your truth? The Lord heard and had mercy on me; The Lord gave me help. You turned my crying into joy, you tore my rags and girded me with joy. May I sing to You in my glory, and not be sorrowful. Lord my God, I will glorify You forever!
Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
