Blessed art Thou, Lord,
Teach me the way of Thy righteousness.
А҆́гг҃льскїй собо́ръ ѹ҆диви́сѧ, / зрѧ̀ тебѐ въ ме́ртвыхъ вмѣни́вшасѧ, / сме́ртнꙋю же, сп҃се, крѣ́пость разори́вша, / и҆ съ собо́ю а҆да́ма воздви́гша, / и҆ ѿ а҆́да всѧ̑ свобо́ждша.
The angelic assembly marvels,
seeing thee quickening the dead,
O Saviour, thou hast overthrown the death's stronghold,
and with thee Adam risen,
and from hell freed all.

Почто̀ м›ра съ ми́лостивными слеза́ми, / ѽ ѹ҆ч҃нцы, растворѧ́ете; / блиста́ѧйсѧ во гро́бѣ а҆́гг҃лъ мѷроно́сицамъ вѣща́ше: / ви́дите вы̀ гро́бъ и҆ ѹ҆разꙋмѣ́йте, / сп҃съ бо воскр҃се ѿ гро́ба.
Because thou dost weep with merciful tears, / O Comforters, ye dissolve; / Shining in the grave as an angel of myrrh-bearers more powerful: / Behold the grave and understand, / For Christ hath risen from the grave.

Ѕѣлѡ̀ ра́нѡ мѷронѡ́сицы теча́хꙋ / ко гро́бꙋ твоемꙋ̀ рыда́ющѧ, / но предста̀ къ ни̑мъ а҆́гг҃лъ и҆ речѐ: / рыда́нїѧ вре́мѧ преста̀, не пла́чите, / воскрⷭ҇нїе же а҆пⷭ҇лѡмъ рцы́те.
Sel' rann'y mironwscy techakh ko grobu tvoemu rydach, no predstak nim aggl'i rech'e: rydanija vremja presta, ne plachite, voskresenije apgel'm rcyte.

Мѷронѡ́сицы жєны̀, съ мѵ́ры прише́дшѧ / ко гро́бꙋ твоемꙋ̀, сп҃се, рыда́хꙋ, / а҆́гг҃лъ же къ ни̑мъ речѐ глаго́лѧ: / что̀ съ ме́ртвыми жива́го помышлѧ́ете; / ꙗ҆́кѡ бг҃ъ бо воскр҃се ѿ гро́ба.
Сла́ва ѻ҆ц҃ꙋ̀ и҆ сн҃ꙋ и҆ ст҃о́мꙋ д¦ꙋ.
Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.
Трⷪ҇ченъ: Поклони́мсѧ ѻ҆ц҃ꙋ̀ / и҆ є҆гѡ̀ сн҃ови, и҆ ст҃о́мꙋ д¦ꙋ, / ст҃ѣ́й трⷪ҇цѣ во є҆ди́номъ сꙋществѣ̀, / съ серафі́мы зовꙋ́ще: / свѧ́тъ, свѧ́тъ, свѧ́тъ, є҆сѝ гдⷭ҇и.
We shall bow down to the Father / and to His Son, and to the Holy Spirit, / standing in one essence, / crying with the seraphim: / Holy, Holy, Holy, Thou art Lord.
И҆ ны́нѣ и҆ при́снѡ и҆ во вѣ́ки вѣкѡ́въ. а҆ми́нь.

Theotokos: Giving birth to the Life-Giver,
thou didst save sin, death, and Adam from hell,
and in sorrow thou gavest joy its place:
fallen though we are into life's travail,
by thy Incarnation God became man.
