Thou hast fulfilled all good things, O Lord my God, and hast filled my soul with joy and gladness; save me, for Thou art the Only-Begotten of the Father.

Glory: If I have sinned, O Saviour, save my soul, before Thee; and though Thou knowest not: yet do I dare to appeal to Thy great mercy: turning unto Thee, receive me mercifully, as one that is pitiful and compassionate, like the prodigal son, and save me.

And now: One of the strongholds, and the warm intercessor, how is it that thou knowest not? For with boldness of heart they approach him who was born for thee, O Lady, and help me thy servant.

O Lord, have mercy, and grant peace:

O Lord Jesus Christ, my God, have mercy on me the sinner, and forgive me the unworthy servant of Thine, whosoever I have sinned through all the days of my life, even until today, and also whatever a man may have sinned, the free and the involuntary transgression of my soul.

By deed and word, wherefore with mind and thought, by the inspiration and inattention, I have many of my lethargy and negligence. Yea, also in thy name I pray, yea, also I falsely pray, and I revile with thought, and I have cursed him, and I have slandered, and I have grieved.

I have provoked Thee, and I have stolen, and I have committed fornication, and I have lied, and I have spoken secretly: and another hath reached me, and I despised him; and my brother have I grieved and made to sorrow: and they that stood by me in prayer and supplication my crafty adversary was ever passing by.

And I rejoiced more than in beauty, and I laughed foolishly, and I spoke with scorn, and I was vain, and I was proud, and I saw a false goodness: yet I was not deceived; and I did not let an unwise thought ensnare me: for in the sweat of my body we did not sin. And I kept the commandments.

O Soul of mine, wherein I have not kept the divine Father, but rather spoken in vain and done what is deceitful: for all that I and they who speak thus have wrought, and those things which I now remember: have mercy on me, O Lord, and forgive me all, that I may rest in peace, saying, and blessing Thee, with unbeginning glory.

Thy Holy Name, O Lord, with Thy throne and Thy goodness, Thy life-giving Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages, Amen.

This sentence hath been written by the Holy Spirit, in two places, and beyond the number of psalms, when He alone was wrestling on the naked mount.

I was small in my brother's house and young in his domain: the Passover of his household I kept. Thy hand, O Lord, fashioned me into an organ, and Thy fingers composed me into a psalter. And who shall proclaim to the Lord of my soul; Himself, Himself, He shall hear: Himself sent His angel.

And I was taken from the hand of my father, and anointed with the oil of his anointment. My brethren were good and great: but they would not have me for their own. I went forth into the congregation of the people of my fathers, and was cursed by them. And I, having drawn out a sword from him, cut off his head.

And I have taken up the reproach from the sons of Iēsous Christ.
