Thou hast fulfilled all good things, O Lord my God, and hast filled my soul with joy and gladness, and save me, for Thou art the Only-Begotten of the Father.

Glory: For though I have sinned, O Theotokos, preserve my soul, before Thee; and though I know not all the things that Thou hast done: yet I dare to hope in Thy great mercy: turning unto Thee, receive me mercifully, as one of Thine own children, and as a prodigal son, and save me.

And now: One of the strongholds, and the warm intercessor, if thou knowest not: yet because of his boldness before that which was born of thee, Lady, Master, help me thy servant.

O Lord, have mercy, and grant peace:

O Lord Jesus Christ, my God, have mercy on me, a sinful one, and forgive me, Thy unworthy servant, since I have sinned throughout all the days of my life, even until today, and also whatever else a man may sin, both willingly and unwillingly.

By deed and word, wherefore with thought and intent, by the workings of will and negligence, I have labored much in my own laziness and carelessness. Yea, even with thy Name I have cried, yea, even falsely; I have blasphemed with thought, I have cursed, I have reproached, I have grieved, I have troubled without cause.

I have provoked Thee, O Lord, and I have stolen, and I have committed fornication, and I have lied, and I have kept secret: and another had come to me, and I despised him; and my brother I have grieved and made sorrowful: and they that stood praying for me, my crafty one was walking about cunningly.

And I have rather taken pleasure in foolish laughter, and in madness I spoke, and in spite I spoke, and in vain glory I exalted myself, and in pride I was puffed up, and in the beauty of deceitful goodness I saw: yet I was not deceived by it; and in unprofitable things I was enticed: for in my carnal thoughts we did not abide: and in commandments.

O Soul of my Father, I have not kept it, but have spoken in vain and done what is deceitful: for all that speaketh and teacheth these things, I have wrought them, and even now I remember them. Have mercy on me, O Lord, and forgive me all, that I may rest in peace, beginning, and blessing Thee, and glorifying Thee with the Unbeginning.

Thy Holy Name, O Lord, with Thy Throne and Thy Glory, and Thy Life-giving Temple, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages, Amen.

This psalm is written in sorrow, David, and beyond the number of psalms, when thou didst contend alone upon the bare mountain.

I was small among my brethren and young in the house of my father: the paschal lamb of my father. Thy hand, O Lord, made me an organ, and Thy fingers composed the psaltery. And who shall proclaim to the Lord of us; Himself, Himself, He shall hear: Himself sent His own angel,

And I was taken from the hand of the Father of my father, and anointed with the oil of gladness. My brethren are good and great: but they would not receive me. I went forth into the gate of my people, and was cursed by my own weapons. And I, having drawn my sword from him, cut off his head.

And I have taken up the reproach from the sons of Iēsous Christ.
