Yirmos: Receiving the command from the Lord, the angel began to sing with the venerable youth / while the unbelievers fell prostrate in obedience to God's will, / and the tormentor was commanded to cry out: / Blessed be Thou, O Theotokos, our Mother.

Vespers: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy resurrection glorify us.

Weeping in the depth of Thy heart, O Sun, Thou hast clothed Thyself in darkness,
And throughout the day upon the whole earth, light is more dim,
Blessed art Thou, O Virgin Mother of our God.

Vespers: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy resurrection glorified Thee.

Veiled by the descent of Thy Light into the depths of the world, O Giver of Light, joy and gladness were fulfilled with exultation, singing: Blessed art Thou, O Mother of God, forerunner of our salvation.

Refrain: Having ascended into heaven, save us, O Theotokos.

Theotokos: By Thee were we born twice, / a light shining upon all the universe: / Thou didst bear in Thy womb all the world's Redeemer. / Pray for Him, all-holy, / that He send us His faithful Word.

Andronicus. Chant: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy merciful compassion and resurrection.

Strange is the figure!
From the labor of Pharaoh, deliver me,
With power He permits it,
And releases fetters of sin.
To Him we sing with faith:
Deliverer O Lord, blessed art Thou.

Chorus: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy merciful compassion and resurrection.

Thee they saved on the altar with ungodly and impious triplets, breaking the iron gates and brass;
In their salvation singing to us:
Savior, Blessed, art Thou.

Refrain: Having ascended the throne, O Theotokos, save us.

Blessed Theotokos: Thou, O Virgin, hast brought forth ancient deliverance from the curse, / releasing Adam and Eve who read together. / Therefore with thy Angels we, with thy hymn and praise, sing and cry to thee:
Savior, blessed art thou.

Lord. Hymn: Having lifted up the Theotokos, save us.

Younge man of three tongues did not fall, reflecting thy image:
Blest thou art, O Incarnate Word,
for the holy fire did not consume thee,
but entered into thee,
and taught all to cry:
Blessed art thou, O Mother of God.

Refrain: Having ascended into heaven, save us, O Theotokos.

Blessed are the ends of thy all-holy hands,
as thou didst prophesy,
enlightened by thy own divine rays,
and with thy grace singing:
Blessed be thou, O Mother of our Lord.

Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.

Wretched are thy teeth that pierced me with their wickedness:
but Thou, O Our Lady, crush them;
and strength hast Thou given me to cry out:
blessed be Thou, O Mother of God.

And now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

O sanctuary of nature, thou art alone the gracious enfolding of God, / upon the arm of the throne-sitting Cherubim dost thou sit, / for bearing them thou criest: / Blessed art thou, O Mother of God, our Intercessor.

Katavasia: Not served the creature God's wisdom / more than its creator, / but by fiery reproof man was corrected, / rejoicing in song: / Blessed be the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
