Vespers: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy resurrection glorify us.

Weeping in the stranger's land, by thy sun thou art clothed, and in the day by darkness covered, / And on every side around thee, the earth is more dim than light; / Blessed art thou, O Mother of our God.

Vespers: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy resurrection glorified Thee.

Veiled by the descent of Thy Light into the darkness, O Saviour, rejoicing and gladness filled the heavens with their joy, singing: Blessed art Thou, O Mother of God, for Thou art the bearer of our Saviour.

Pripev: Preshta bce, spsini nas.

Theotokos: By Thee were we born twice, / a light shining upon all the universe: / Thou didst bear in Thy womb all the world's Redeemer. / Pray for Him, all-holy, / that He send us His faithful Word.

And. Chant: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy merciful and resurrection gift.

Strange is the figure! / From the labor of Pharaoh, deliver us, O Theotokos, / By His will it is entwined, / And He releases the fetters of sin. / To Him we sing with faith: / Deliverer of souls, blessed art Thou.

Vespers: Glory to Thee, O Lord, for Thy merciful compassion and resurrection.

Thee they saved on the altar with wicked and impious threefold trampling,
breaking the brazen gates and doors,
for the sake of our salvation singing:
Savior, Blessed, Thou art.

Pripev: Preshta bce, spsini nas.

Bogorodичenъ: Yévy drèvněya svobódjeně́ ródždšaétaanye ot klě́tvy, / razrě́shaeše adáma dvó četáye. / Tě́mже so ággely tẽ́, sъ snómъ tvoí́m poémy í voápjém: / Izbáviteli bžé, blágoslovéný esì.

Andronicus. Chanting: When the Theotokos ceased, save us.

Yunosh trekh pech' ne opal', rzhjevitvo probrazuivakh bo: / Bzhestvennoy bo ogny ne opaliv, vlesa v tya, / i vsya nauchit voipi: / Blagosloven byes bze otets našikh.

Pripev: Preshta Theotokos, spasynas.

Blessed are the ends of thy all-holy body, as thou didst prophesy, / Illuminating us with thy luminous rays, / And by thy grace singing: / Blessed art thou, O Mother of God, our Intercessor.

Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.

Wretched are thy teeth that pierced me with their own deceitful sharpness: / but Thou Thyself, O God, hast crushed the serpent, / and strength hast given me to cry out: / Blessed art Thou, O Mother of God, our Intercessor.

And now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

O sanctuary of nature, Thou art alone the gracious God,
on Thy arm sitteth the Cherubim's throne of the Lord,
for bearing their wings, Thou dost cry:
Blessed art Thou, O Mother of God, our Intercessor.

Katavasia: Not served thee, O creature, by the wisdom of God / but rather by the fiery judgment of man / didst thou correct, rejoicing: / the Venerable Father in the Lord and God Blessed Jesus Christ blessed thee.
