а҃. А҆́ще не гдⷭ҇ь сози́ждетъ до́мъ, всꙋ́е трꙋди́шасѧ зи́ждꙋщїи: а҆́ще не гдⷭ҇ь сохрани́тъ гра́дъ, всꙋ́е бдѣ̀ стрегі́й.
а҃. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
в҃. Всꙋ́е ва́мъ є҆́сть ѹ҆́треневати: воста́нете по сѣдѣ́нїи ꙗ҆дꙋ́щїи хлѣ́бъ болѣ́зни, є҆гда̀ да́стъ возлю́блєннымъ свои̑мъ со́нъ.
в҃. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

д҃. Ꙗ҆́кѡ стрѣ́лы въ рꙋцѣ̀ си́льнагѡ, та́кѡ сы́нове ѿтрѧсе́нныхъ.
д҃. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
є҃. Бл҃же́нъ, и҆́же и҆спо́лнитъ жела́нїе своѐ ѿ ни́хъ: не постыдѧ́тсѧ, є҆гда̀ глаго́лютъ врагѡ́мъ свои̑мъ во вратѣ́хъ.
є҃. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
