Irmos: The Son of the Beginningless Parent, God and Lord, incarnate from the Virgin, appeared to us to enlighten those in darkness, to gather the scattered. Therefore, we glorify the Mother of God, worthy of universal praise.
Chorus: Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. (Bow)
Taste and see: Christ, the Good Lord, who for our sake once became like us and once offered Himself as a sacrifice to His Father, has since been constantly slain, sanctifying those who receive communion.
Chorus: Do not cast me away from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. (Bow)
By the communion of the sacred Mysteries, may I be sanctified in soul and body, Master, may I be enlightened, may I be saved, may I become Your house, having You, O most merciful Benefactor, living in me with the Father and the Spirit.
Chorus: Restore to me the joy of hope for salvation through You and strengthen me with the sovereign Spirit. (Bow)
May Your Body and Most Precious Blood be for me, my Savior, a fire that burns sins and burns up the thorns of passions, a light that enlightens me all to worship Your Divinity.
Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and always, and forever and ever. Amen.
God became incarnate from Your pure blood. Therefore, all nations praise You, Lady, and hosts of spirits glorify, because through You they clearly saw the Lord of the universe in human nature.
