Irmos: I am a sinner, a transgressor, an untruthful one before you, a lower observant, a lower creator, as you commanded us: but do not betray us to the end, father God.
Reverend Father Paisios, pray to God for us.
Your death truly surprised us, O our Father Paisius, not just because your children, having torn their hearts to pieces, were dashed across the earth: but the air made a wonderful noise, and seemed to appear weeping, showing It's time for us to lament.
Reverend Father Paisios, pray to God for us.
The spiritual fathers who carried you, oh, since they wanted to hold you back, but whoever can hold you, opened your mouth to praise God: every word that comes out of your mouth brings with it a multitude sobs and a source of tears.
Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Forgive me, who transgressed your commands, who neglected your holy will, who is envious and crafty above all people, who does not fulfill his will, especially the devil, kindly and good father. and by your gentle custom: and pray to God to grant me time to repent.
And now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Impenetrable gates, open for me, I pray, the gates of true repentance: and show me the path of repentance, Pure, to the Teacher of all.
