Irmos: Lord, establish my moving heart on the rock of Your commandments, for You and the Lord alone are holy.

Reverend Father Paisios, pray to God for us.

Even though you were sick, and you had many wounds on your body, you healed many purulent spiritual wounds of those who came to you: with your good customs and gentle words, Father Paisius.

Reverend Father Paisios, pray to God for us.

You were seriously ill in body, and you said beforehand: I am preparing for death; when I go to church, I don’t know whether I will return healthy, or whether death will befall me on the way.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

This is the custom of the saints, as soon as they draw closer to God, they only multiply the verbs: I am not yet finished, I am not yet ready, until I completely betray my soul in my hand God’s: so are you, Father, even though you were perfect, but you were always prepared, pray that I may be saved by your prayers.

And now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Holy of Holies, Mother of God Virgin, praying to Thy Son, Christ our God, that those who were imitators may inherit what was prepared for us by the creation of the world, glorifying thee, the Ever-Virgin.

Lord, have mercy (three times).
