It behooves one to know, because in every psalm never do the stichoi cease, but only in one great mystery, on Tuesday: even unto the end do we recite the stichoi.

To the troparia also, we acclaim Thee alone, O Our God: Glory to Thee, glory to Thee.

Psalm of Moses concerning the Second Giving of the Law. Law written again, Psalm of Moses.

Let it be answered to me according to my prayer, and let the dew of Thy grace descend upon my words.

As a cloud at the sound of thunder, and as dew upon the grass, even as I have called you, give great glory to our God.

God is faithful, and there is no unrighteousness in Him: He is righteous and venerable Lord.

Сі́и лю́дїе бꙋ́їи и҆ не мꙋ́дри: не са́мъ ли се́й ѻ҆ц҃ъ тво́й стѧжа́ тѧ, и҆ сотвори́ тѧ, и҆ созда́ тѧ;
These men are foolish and not wise: is it not thy Father who dwelleth and maketh thee and createth thee?

Thou shalt ask the Father of thee, and he shall teach thee, O Fathers of thine, and shall say to thee.

Set bounds to the tongues according to the number of the angels' hosts; and there was a part for the Lord's people, as also their inheritance, and I say.

Let Him instruct him, and correct him, and keep him for the sake of His eyes' sake.

Stretched forth were His wings, and He received, and bore upon His own arm.

The Lord alone led them, and there was no stranger God with them.

Lift up on high the strength of earth, fill the life of the dwellers thereof.

Cravens, thou eatest honey from a hard stone, and oil from a firm rock.

Thou art made fat, thou art enlarged: let Thee preserve Him Who was created by God, and depart from the Saviour of Thee, God.

For the race is corrupted, and sons thereof have no faith in them.

And from irritation I do not let anger arise, but from anger I do not let it grow unrestrainedly.

The earth shall eat its fruit, and the foundation of the mountains shall be burned up.

Táuyúche gládom, i snédy ptítsъ, i gorbъ neitseleń.

Teeth of silver I put in Thee, with strength creeping upon the earth.

How strange it is that the sword doth not spare, and from their temples the fear of their shrines: a youth with a maiden, existing with a perfected elder.

Spoke: I will scatter them abroad, but I will set their memorial before men.

If not for wrath of enemies, let them not long endure, and let them not lie down to fight.

Let it not be said: "Our hand is high, and the Lord hath not done this."

Not understanding to discern: all these shall receive in the coming year.

А҆́ще не бг҃ъ ѿда́стъ ѧ҆̀, и҆ гдⷭ҇ь преда́стъ ѧ҆̀;
If God doth not deliver, the Lord will deliver.

Grapes of wrath they were, grapes of gall, grapes of bitterness also.

Не сїѧ̑ ли всѧ̑ собра́шасѧ ѹ҆ менѐ, и҆ запечатлѣ́шасѧ въ сокро́вищахъ мои́хъ;
Hast Thou not gathered all Mine assemblies unto Myself, and sealed them in My treasures?

In the day of their visitation, in the time when they shall be led astray, their foot shall stumble.

Because the day of their perdition is at hand, and they stand prepared against you.

For the Lord judgeth His people, and the servants of His shall entreat Him.

For verily thou wast wearied and fainting in time, and hast been overcome.

И҆ речѐ гдⷭ҇ь: гдѣ̀ сꙋ́ть бо́зи и҆́хъ, и҆̀хже ѹ҆пова́ша на нѧ̀; и҆́хже тꙋ́къ же́ртвъ и҆́хъ ꙗ҆дѧ́сте, и҆ пїѧ́сте вїно̀ тре́бъ и҆́хъ;
And the Lord said: Wherefore, O ye that hope in Him, do ye offer unto Him both His sacrifices and His oblations, and drink His required drinks.

Let them rise and help you, and shall be your protectors.

I pray, that I may live: smite, and I will be healed; there is none that can resist the hand of Mine.

Denn ich erhebe zurHimmelmeineHandundwerde:Ichlebeewiglich!

As lightning my desire speeds forth, and I receive the judgment thereof with my hand.

And I will give vengeance to my enemies, and to them that hate me.

By the blood of the slain and the captivity, from the heads of the princes of the Gentiles.

Gladden ye the hearts of men with the joy, and let them be strengthened unto all sons of God.

For His own blood's sake, the Son avenges; and He will repay:
And He will give vengeance to His enemies, and to those who hate Him.

And the Lord shall purify the land of His own people.

Glory, and now:
